Andi, it's them Crusader pilots that taught everyone BFM during the Vietnam War...USN and USAF included. Too bad that by 1972 the Crusader squadrons still in the theater were relegated secondary roles that would provide little possibility of MiG encounter, or else that score would have continued. I believe, off the top of my head, only VF-96 beats out those 8-kills with 9-kills, and VF-96 were there from day-1 to mid-late 1972. VF-211, that's my bird!
