Hi Hwkeye,
Thanks for the history lesson. As I was not one of those original Flying Tigers and joined in Warbirds, I didnt feel comfortable proclaiming the proud heritage of our squad myself. Glad you showed up to clarify that point. I am also mature enough to understand that this is not issue worth getting seriously bent out of shape about. It's merely one of respect and pride. I sincerely hope that it can be resolved to everyone's mutual satisfaction without wasting any of HTC's valuable time and much appreciated efforts. In the mean time, my policy, as stated above, remains in effect...
just kill them gleefully.   :p

How about making them call themselves the Daily Swallows? (as opposed to the Night Hawks get it? Night? Day? awww forget it!)

Hmmm... The aggressor is the criminal or anyone who fights a war is a criminal? If the former, then I agree. If the latter then Voltaire is a complete dolt.

And BTW didn't Voltaire predict that by the turn of the century he would eliminate all traces of the Bible in civilized society or something like that? Odd thing is, there's a Bible publishing house in the place he used to live. :-)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH I HATE when the message is so big I have to scroll horisontally.

Please, keep it normal size.   :D

And Creamo, we're rather selective in our process of taking up members.

Hm, you're controversial enough to be considered a dishwasher here though.

Oh, btw: I just got the money I sent you to cover transporation of my joystick back: said "recipient didn't answer door" or something like that. Did you give me the wrong addy?

You'll have to wait for xmas to get them though: spent them already  :D

Agreed w/ Cougar.

If they're coming from AW and want to keep the name, they should do something to differentiate it... like Animalistic Night Hawks, or just change it completely.

If I saw a squad that called themselves the Raptors, I wouldn't mind... or if they called themselves the Highlanders...  But if they came any closer to the 34th Highland Raptors, I'd call the same thing on them.

I think in 6 months, after further intregation from AW (and others) we will all have other things to complain about.

I grew up in a small town in Arkansas. There was one High School and two Junior Highs. There was off course a strong rivaly between the two Junior Highs. I remember my sophmore year when we were all of the sudden thrown together. Things changed fairly quickly.

With the influx of people from AW and other areas it has altered play somewhat (and given lots of easy kills at times). This took place almost overnight. It has altered the environment all of us once knew and were accustomed, from all sides.

Things will stabilize in the next several months as the arena finds it's own balance of play in this new environment.

P.S. What side does this AVG group fly on? If you ever fly cRook let us know so we can do some joint missions.
