Michael Jackson - disgusting freak or tragic character?

C'mon sandman.

I think I have been consistent in my stance against publicly convicting anyone. Especially by these reactionary bozos you might find here.

MJ might very well be a pedophile, but he still is innocent until proven guilty. Hell, if the affidavit on http://www.thesmokinggun.com is real, then why ain't he in jail now?

Didn't he pay off the accuser and charges were dropped? IIRC, there was a settlement.

An affidavit is not the same as a court testimony... right?

I aggree with this 100%. if you add a roten upbringing.
How can you remove the effect of an adoring public on his developing personality?
He has done what he has done to himself and others because he has been tought and conditioned to do so.
Certainly by his parents. By his circle of sycophants. And by the public.
It seems clear to me. It doesnt excuse his behavior as an adult. But you simply cannot dismiss the effect of all the experiances in his life on his success.
He got a nose job and was back on the charts..another nose job and even more success. Easy to lose track of the fact it was his music that got him famous again...he cant write good songs at will..but he can get nose jobs at will.
Being so rediculous that adults cring in his company he seeks the company of children.
All we know is he is a freak and he has had a life that I wouldnt trade for.
Do we know he is a pedophile?

Wow, Pongo and I agree 100% on something, and Hortlund and Sandman.

All in one thread.

Freaky.

I didn't watch the interview... what was it all about?

I was watching a Hogan's Heroes marathon on Nik at Nite.... seemed more interesting, but now I am thinking I may have made the wrong viewing choice.
