People purposely doing things to ruin fun of others is never right.  Interesting to see same people taking similar positions here as another recent game bug thread, yes?  Maps can be reset a lot easier than reputations.

BGB.........you know I love you but saying you'll cheat as much as possible is not cool.  Some might interpret that the wrong way.  Also the use of so many colorful metaphors is not apropriate here either.  Please take it easy.  I don't need HT booting you.  You're too valuable to the squad.

This bug can be fun too! Last night, our Cruiser was sunk by an invisible enemy Cruiser (already sunk). So, while their "stealth" Cruiser pounded our CV, our guys sank the enemy CV with their stealth Cruiser a few minutes later. Well, within 5 minutes there were four invisible ships shooting at each other’s Destroyers. It was actually quite funny. After our fleet respawned, their stealth fleet continued to pound our airfield. All quite amusing....

OK mr semantics man.

To me, it looked like you were saying that scorpions never hurt anyone. I was merely pointing out the mortality rates.

Perhaps the play on words was meant to be amusing? Clever? "Stung by the asp" was how an old bard put it, but nowadays, one merely gets a snakebite.... :)

This is a frikn game!!!!!

Who the hell wants any1 to cheat at this game....??

I dont and neither does any one who wants a good fight

My skill is high enuff not to need to cheat...

Preddy...(insert finger here)..hehehehe..

Pleasse get a life..other then this game....Whats so idiotic??
And how is what i wrote make HTC look bad?? I have never cheated so whats ur point?

people saying they will do anything to win in war?? No thats reality..If i saw you and you were killing my friends and family Im going to shoot you in the head with out saying..lets duel...THAT IS HOW WAR GOES..

it is HTC' s job to find and stop  these loopholes..... Its a whole nother thing if soem one is deliberatly cheating..NOT FINDING A BUG IN THE GAME..but rewriting code for unlimted ammo or what ever...

So.......Report bugs and dont call out soem squad or person for using it...Cause if they werent using it.. ..it would not get reported as much or if at all....

You guys and the personal attaks dont help anything (asasin)
Film that and send it in....thats how we fix stuff  .lololol...You should actaully thank these guys...They are paying to beta test right??  We should thank anyone who finds this stuff.....

This may be a known bug to some, but I can assure you I had never heard of it before!  Last night it seems I also exploited it without ever realising.  I was manning a field gun when I suddenly lost the sight...... after seeing weird things happen from the minute I logged on, I thought it was just another glitch and carried on shooting.  To be honest, I'm still not convinced it is a bug!  To me, it seemed that the gun took some damage, but was not destroyed!  That's how it appeared to me at the time, anyway..... and, as I could found I could still hit stuff, I continued to use it, eventually landing 2 kills.  Heck, let's be honest.  If a gun is still working, it is going to be used, right?  :p

This is my first post for sometime now and i would just like to say. Im dissapointed in all of you. You all now some goody goody that finds a way to cheat using a bug is going to do it. Alls you have to do is pull your pants back up and give it another try. I can agree that H.T.C. needs to fix this problem, but that gives you no right to blame somebody that wants a couple more perks for doing this. Just get over it...

P.S. Bigsqueak i liked your posts lolol

Well, if you addressing my comments, understand this: Taking advantage of a bug is going to happen. It sure as hell isn't cheating either. It may not be very sportsman like, but it's a far cry from cheating. So, I'd relax on the vitriol a bit if I were you. Okay, you got whacked by a dead ack, big deal. If that ruined your day, you may want to reconsider your personal priorities.

Also, if you think HTC is going to penalize anyone for taking advantage of this bug, think again. I'll bet a hundred or more guys took advantage of it. All three sides were doing it, no one broke or re-wrote code to do it either.

We had a bug exploited by dozens of players in the CT. It was unfortunate, but it wasn’t cheating and no one was penalized, scolded or otherwise reprimanded by HTC. They didn’t create the bug, they merely used it to their advantage.

Think of it this way. Auto racing organizations have specific rules governing what can and cannot be done to racecars. Should someone find a loophole in the rules that allows them to use a more efficient cylinderhead, and therefore have a faster car, are they cheating? Frankly, no, they are not cheating. Race driver Mark Donahue wrote about his years with Penske Racing and their extraordinary ability to find loopholes in the rules. He titled it “The Unfair Advantage”. What we have with this bug is an “unfair advantage”, nothing more.

As it is, the bug in question has likely been fixed by now. So, go back to doing your thing, whatever that may be and don’t be so fast to call people cheaters.

Widewing
