.ef is the dot command to end a flight/sortie.  It's the equivalent of clicking the Tower button on the clipboard once a flight/sortie has been landed.

Which is why I compared vulching to spawn camping. As to whether I vulch; rarely, and only if protecting troops or if I'm capping a field alone and several try to take off. I don't care for vulching just 'cause it offers easy victories, it's a lame way to run up kills.

I spend most of my online time in the CT, where vulching is deemed very bad form and rarely occurs.

Well, as one of the "new guys" (yeah right I was here before some of y'all graduated from Pre-K)
I came back to inspect what improvements had been made

--Clouds
---more ground vehicles
----more planes
-----same buncha clowns bashing each and every person, place or thing because they know they're safe from retribution

I'll give it a weeks trial, just to be fair,
But I left because of the, umm, "community", so I'd say there hasn't been ANY improvement.

Gotta admit I manned one of the dead acks, but ONLY after being nailed at least 7 times and losing upwards of 24 kills at other bases.
My apologies to the knits at those bases where I called you allsorts for leaving a manned ack up again.
Its human nature to want a bit of payback and thats exactly what I did. Would it have reasonable to expect everyone to stop manning them once they were dead - I don't think so. If I remember correctly when the new version was first released the same bug existed on the first map. Funny how that time everyone was laughing about it and how it needed to be fixed. Funny how everyone still manned them then also. Exploiting a bug - yes, cheating - no. How many people will own up to using the "shoot your own hanger" to raise their hit % ratio before that was fixed.
Just a few thoughts.

/.ef means...  ended flight, i.e. exited the gun back to tower and went to another base for a new sortie.  manning the big guns on ca's is a fun diversion at times, and can really tear up a town/base being worked on.  it has no effect on rank, that's correct.

my point was that the cruiser was sunk, yet i could still fire the guns from the "inviso" bug.. i chose not to take advantage of that bug, instead getting out of gun and doing something esle, even tho' the base we were working was was almost at point blank range and still had stuff up.

i don't really care about rank or the contest. but then it's not really hard to rank fairly high with not a lot of effort, and my decent rank in general flies in the face of the "landing is gud" concept. if anything i enjoy showing that k/d is a fairly meaningless stat in general.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.

Well I enjoy manning the guns, and really couldn't care less about rank!  LOL, yeah, go ahead and check my score/rank..... I have no interest in what it is myself.  You can definitely rule me out of the monthly contest too..... unless there is a booby prize....  :)  I usually man a gun if the VH is down at a field, otherwise I would be defending it in an Osty.... or on a ship that is under attack.  Like gooning, somebody's got to do it!  :D

I say we grant general amnesty to those who exploited the invisible ack bug and lay this stupid thread to rest already.

I don't think that is correct:

Crow,

all i know is , when i kill GVs with field AA guns
or planes/PTs with ship guns, my GV rank get better.

1 day we went to  Uterus map, we had 44, i killed about 30 GVs with field AA gun, my GV rank went from 2000+ to 80.

BGB..
The kid lives in Stockton, works at Red Lobster.  They are in the middle of "Lobsterfest" right now, so it's pretty insane.  I knew it was a huge longshot, but figured I had nothin' to lose by asking.  :D
