This is peter arnett's major problem... he's so against American participation that he's willing to propogate lies on television as long as they make the American military look bad.  He's been fired from virtually every news agency he's worked for because of it.

When you only report what the "enemy" tells you without any kind of verification in an attempt to undermind your country's efforts in the war... what does that say about you?  I don't think he's far from pushing the "lending aid to the enemy" envelope.  He's taken it farther than Hanoi Jane ever could.  I only hope increased loss of life on both the Iraqi and U.S. side because of his dissention is worth the publicity.

There is no baggage no psychobabble Bs there the guy has consitantly shown he has it out for the US military and his reporting consistently reflects that bias. Its what got him fired from CNN and its what got him fired from NBC. Veteran reporter or not he is an anti-USA hack,  do you think its a coincidence he was pretty much only non arab western TV reporter left in baghad?

Operation Tailwind is a VietNam sourced mistake made by Arnett. Years after the fact.

He got behind this "breaking story" and it was the purest BS.

In short, Arnett has always been a BS merchant. IMO.
