I have one question for you, when im in a mission and i take out two FHs with my attack plane, should i also recieve a kill message?????
Yes, if u land them. But u see, the point has gone way over your head. The strategy is molded by the goal of the game. The
goal is to destroy another counjtry, which means you must
destroy other airbases, which means the massve high speed
suicide jabos on airbases is UNDERSTANDABLE, its just that it is
so effective that it has become the AH way, which is, in my
humble, yet correct opinion, a bit too simple. But thats just
for me. For You it may be a complicated strategic plan.
If there is a reward for hangar kills landed. yes, you
have to land them in order to get the reward, perhaps it may
put a bit of a check on this 'unrealistic' aspect that seems (to me)
to be 90% of the organized missions.
If the hangars regened as soon as the pilot who was awarded
the hangar- kill, died or ditched, this would immediatley force the
attackers to think a little bit more about how to maximize
thier effort. A while ago the bombing models were made
more realistic (challenging) because a bomber could
pinpoint targets from 25k and kill strats and this
'ruined too many peoples fun'. I love the new bombing
model. I exceed at it, compared to the others. In
my opinion, the sucicide jabos fall into the same catagory
as the pinpoint bombing. But, I am a traditionalist. I
always love to see 20 or 25 b17's w escorts. Which is
a lot like the WWII air war that I read about.
Frank3, This is why I started this thread. The last 4 missions
a peeked at had NO PLANS for RTB. Typhoons, bombs and
rockets, kill hangars and strats, vulch. Good grief.
