The "Fair and Balanced" phrase is protected by copyright.  But only if Fox defends it in court.

McDonalds and Disney vigorously protect their copyrights, why shouldn't Murdock?

Nevermind that it's ridiculous to allow anyone to copyright a common phrase...

Hey I wrote a book called "Republicans suck".

It's really funny. Send me $19.95 plus $4.95 shipping an handling, and I'll get a copy right out to you. I'll even autograph it.

I'm sorry, who were you calling an idiot?

I have a second book in the works: "Democrats suck". I'm accepting pre-orders now.

Send a paypal to: imricheryourasweetheartbag@hippiessuck.com

Well shucks, maybe I ought to cancel my order if you're gonna cry over it.

You think it is purely coincidental that he co-opted the copyrighted phrase of one of the objects of his criticism?

If I wrote a book condemning the soft drink industry and titled my book "It's the Real Thing" I would expect Coca-Cola to be a little peeved.

Hey, I watch John Snow, or whatever the hell that guy's name is, every Sunday morning right before Ebert & Roeper come on. His "Parting shot" drivel.

Political ideology packaged as entertainment sucks, and I find that the people that enjoy it are generally dip****s.  Yes, that means you.

I mean, how can anyone without a chip on their shoulder and a stick up their bellybutton read a whole book (or watch hours of T.V. or listen to hours of radio) that consists of nothing but political rants?  I know the liberals are communists, the conservatives are fascists and all politicians of are more interested in lining their pockets than any civic duty.  Whooptydoo.

Will Farrell for President in 2004!

I'm not sure what's more retarded the political parties themselves or the tards (heya Rip & banana :p) that actually think their "team" can do no wrong.  You're like a bunch of loving grade school kids.

"your team did this"
"oh yeah, well yours did this"
"nya nya!"
"poopyface!"

I feel like an intellectual in this thread, and that is an obvious sign that things have gone horribly wrong!

You've obviously missed my posts about complaints within this particular administration (Do a search on Asscrap or Ashcroft and user name Ripsnort)

I vote the issues.  I've even voted for democrats before.  Just happens that this day and age the issues I vote for are carried by the right or independants... and not the left.

I don't really care what you vote for, I was commenting on this thread and that fact that in it you sound like a child.  Politicians can do wrong and sometimes stupid things...democrat, republican, left, right, middle, whatever.  As if secrets couldn't be leaked to another country and no one could possibly get it on with an aid while your group of idiots are in office.

Yeah, SOB ya big meanie. Leave me & Rip alone. We are not party hacks, we just like to spar every once in awhile.

Rip & I are like brothers. We probably agree on a lot of issues, but we'd never admit it! :D
