 Well.  I could be wrong and perhaps the reason for the lack of news and updates is that the corporate suits are telling them they should keep thier keyboards quiet and forbid thier discussing AH-II with the community.  ;)

Nothing wrong with asking ... demanding (actively or passively) or I will quit is a whole other story.

Send a note to Bill Gates either asking or demanding that he tell you what is in store for the next release/patch to "Combat Flight Simulator" or you won't buy it, and when you get the response, please attach it to a post for all to see.

2. And Im quiet sure that Bill Gates did not code "Combat Flight Simulator" and who play that game anyhow, so why bring this guy up every time?

So you say - HTC not care about us, not update FAQ and not keep good feedback with players, because  Bill Gates not care about us too?

Should we feel lucki as Il2/FB players are. If HTC will fix every bug after 6 months, like thay have? And keep good feedback with us for this price?

Bill Gates has nothing to do with AH but he owns a company that write and sells software and online services in the same vein as HTC.

Bill Gates doesn't write the software and it really makes no difference that HiTech codes or not ... they both are the owner and CEO of their company.

With that in mind, you are whining, stamping your feet, and threating to quit, because the CEO of a software development company will not divuldge trade secrets before they are released to the general public for use.

Again ... (using the CEO platform) send some emails to Bill Gates and see how far it gets ... threaten to not buy Microsoft products anymore ... I sure that Bill will respond immediately when threatened.

I think the same holds true to HiTech and HTC. Threatening to quit will never garner a response. Those who threaten and stamp their feet demanding something is not really a customer that one would not want. They are the CONSTANT pain in the ass. I'd say ... off with ya then.

hmmmm i think a ceo that has billions of dollars has a bit more leverage on not caring about what some peole say and can shrug off a guy not wanting to buy a MS product.  But a growing company has to be more customer friendly dont have to tell secrets but most just want to see a pic here and there and  a few lines of text saying somehting , other than post of people not having a clue of what they are doing in HTC  but post anyway,      it is too late now to complain it is almost that time for it to come out anyway, i waited months so a few more days wont hurt me

You have a point there, HiTech is not a billionaire, but after meeting and speaking with HiTech at this years con, my impression would be that he is not the type to bend to these types of demands and if he lost 30 * $14.95 because he and HTC have not been as forthcoming with news as some would want, he would not lose any sleep over it, nor would their bank accounts suffer.

Like I said before, those types really aren't the one that you really want to keep. Nothing but problems.

Also, if you went to the con, HiTech was available the whole time for any and all questions presented. Alot were asked and all were answered.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! I managed to videotape a top secret conversation between hitech and skuzzy. However, right as it was getting to the juicy stuff,  I fell off the balcony of the neighboring house I had been videotaping out and broke 16 bones.  However, I still managed to get this video!

I remember back when flying AW and FA 1.5 the antisipation was the same about when FA2 would be out.

I hope it comes out soon like everyone else but I also hope that they didn't rush, and it was at least partially debugged upon release.

Some of us got to beta FA2 and that helped alot, both in debugging and releasing progress reports to the 1.5ers.

All said, worrying about the release date only frustrates me, so I try not to think much about it.

Hmm.. are there still people that does not understand that HTC will provide the aswers when they feel the time is right? Do you think they do it just to piss off the customers??

If you just signed up then i can understand but if you have been here for a few months you should have figured it out by now.
