Leave the poor guy alone Mini.  He's obviously got Harley-envy.  He feels inadequate about his choice in motorcycles, and needs to compensate by "poking holes" in others' opinions of Harleys.

Either that or you're airhead and you're bored with the trolling at AGW.

So there's this biker bar on a state highway just outside of town. A state trooper is sitting in his cruiser off the road on the other side from the bar. A "typical" biker staggers out, stumbles down the stairs, mostly crawls across the parking lot, tries his key in two Harleys before he finds the right one and starts it. He pulls on to the highway and proceeds to roar away. The state cop catches him and pulls him over. After giving him the whole battery of dwi tests, he says, "What gives? I saw you drunk as a skunk 5 minutes ago and now you're sober as a judge!"

The biker replies, "I'm the designated decoy!"

Airhead is a state of mind. I haven't been on AGW since I joined AH.

Pretty astute, considering that part of the male anatomy the Harley represents to the owners thereof.  ;)

so snork... you never have owned a Harley then.   No one will let you ride theirs?   Maybe if yu dropped the attitude someone might let you ride theirs... heck... they let chicks ride Harleys these days... you could probly manage a modern Harley.   They are close to the real ones (the ones with kick starters).

Welcome back airhead.  How long till you have another meltdown? How's the new divorce going?  Been bungi jumping lately?

Here's the question:  Do you hop from one community to another because you get bored with them or they just get used to you?

I wish I could afford a Harley..Those Japanese V twins are nice but not the same sound or mechanical vibe...Funny how HD riders seem so "bad" when they pull up beside you doing the speed limit, yet the guy in a GSXR who lane split you doing 120 seems so non threatening when you catch up to him at a gas bar.

I remember when a friend took the baffels out of the pipe on his Kz750 in the early 1980's.  It was in front of his house on a narrow street lined with contiuous two story row houses.  The noise was painfull when he revved it and people soon came out to complain.  It was great!  Harleys always sounded like a powerful fart to me - not good.  They are actually pretty quite with the factory pipes, and they sound much better that way.

Hehe Laz,
I can always tell a "real" Harley rider, their right leg always seems to be shorter than the other :D

Off we go, eh? I haven't been on AGW since I joined AH IN EARLY BETA . Nice try, but you're totally off the mark. Hehe, I seriously thought you were using "airhead" as a description, not a nom de plume.

I've spent time in Harley saddles. Everything from fully chopped oldies to modern belt drive. They aren't horrible bikes. Actually, they're quite easy to start and ride, other than getting used to the geometry (or lack thereof) with a super extended front fork. It's just the mystique/attitude thing that puts me off and makes me dis the fans of the marque.

I make my home in Milwaukee and I'll tell you: I cannot wait for the whole friggin thing to be over. I've never seen the city this hampered before. My normally 20 minute commute has turned into a 45 min ordeal, and more than ever I'm hearing people roar past my apartment at *all* hours of the night. Any benefit from the extra revenue will probably be lost to OT for the cops(who are out in force), prep and clean up, and other "incidentals".

Ah... my mistake then.  So what handle is it you had prior to this one?

Sorry, but Snork is all you get. I primarily lurked until recently, just to keep up with what's happening in the game. I prefer to keep my arena name separate from this rowdiness.

Yah.. that's pretty much what I expected.  If you don't want to be associated with what you're saying... it's probably a good idea to not say it.  Lurking trolls are so cliche.

No it isn't! You expected I was somebody named "airhead" who left AGW to come here and troll.
