P-38!

Good all around aircraft, besides if not for her I would not be here.  My mom and dad met while working on her at the Lockheed plant.

Hehehe Huge prop ... Big radial ... invasion stripes ... late 56th camo... 360 view canopy     I'm just in love with this thing, and when you love the plane, you do miracles with it

Contrary at some who don't have their beloved plane in AH yet, mine is there, just the paint job missing.

Nath, this FW is always my favorite paint job, changes from Euro FWs who look all dark green in any games. Carefull, I didn't said I liked FWs hehehe.

After P47-D, every plane is nice looking or as it's special thing who makes it nice, hard to say wich one my favorite. Maybe the Mosquito with all the guns in the nose.

How can anything compete with this shark of the skies?

It is ugly, but has the brute power and looks so mean, it is downright beautiful.

Awwww *falls even more in love*

That is appropriate. It is for pissing all over the luftwaffles any how

The rounder canopy on the 190 was so the pilot could see the Spit that was "mounting" on his ride as well

My two favs are the Spit for it's turn fighting abilities (not to mention the underdog comes through).

The second is the REAL P51. (Not the wingshedding gelded Mustang version on AH )

Now THAT should get a rise goin!
