I donno how effective it was.  Plus we can add that Arnold has been a natipnally recognized leader both politically and as private venture in the field of afterschool athletics and other programs for disadvantaged children across. He also heavily supported special olympics competion.

I recognize that you arent fully comfortable with the recall process but I respect your statement on not wishing to rip apart our new governor because of it.

Thanks. :)

I know - it just sounds better the way I said it. In fact it speaks well of him that he made an honest attempt to lead those hardline communist operatives towards the truth, alas even a great man like him could not overcome such a challenge..   ;)

BTW, Grun...You don't have to be a SAG member to get a speaking role, but you do get your card AFTER you appear in a scene. You can also get membership to AFTRA. Being in a union just opens doors for you.

Let's seem it also guarantees a union member will get rediculously high wages or they will piss and moan and go on strike.  This alone is one of the main reasons NAFTA was put into effect, and the main reason are economy has been struggling.

Unions had a place years ago, now they are just corrupt houses of whiners that expect all employers have the obligation to pay an employee millions for doing absolutely nothing or close to it.

Gee whiz, I find myself at odds with Thrawn at about every turn... I dunno how different two people could be...

Thrawn, Clinton never admitted a damn thing in his life until he was caught with DNA evidence against him. Even then he didn't exactly admit anything. Clinton insulted our collective intelligence over and over. He should have just come clean and admitted his failings instead of lying about them and allowing people to fall on grenades for him.

Arnold has stepped right up and admitted being a dog in the past. While not an admirable trait, it is honest, and gives us a place to start. If he drops into the deny, deny, deny path I'd be the first to condemn; so far he has not done that.

FWIW, I knew Clinton would be awful when he uttered the line "I smoked, but did not inhale." What idiot would believe a line like that? Several million Democrats, apparently.

Interesting that the only method for Republicans in CA to get a viable general election candidate is to skip the primary, but unfortunately I don't think either party will pay any heed.

What exactly constitutes being called a "Republican"?  I mean, Arnies Pro-choice and Anti-gun...(shrugs)  Or is that some sick definition of a "Kalifornia Republican"?

I would have not voted for him because of his stance on one of these two issues.

McClintock seemed to be the best candidate.

I could not have provided a clearer example of the problem that will continue to handicap the Republican party until it can break free of the right wing extreme.  Unfortunately, even when they do long enough to gain nationally, the newfound policical power intoxicates them right back into tablianesque conservatism.

If you want to start winning more elections, you need to start looking not at who is the 'best republican', but who is the republican democrats are most likely to vote for.  Of course since democrats have the exact same problem so it doesn't hurt as bad as it could, but if either party were smart enough to think more than two weeks ahead they would take the country in a landslide.

I've said for years that I wished the Abortion issue wasn't part of politics, you'd have alot more Dems voting Republican.

My biggest issue is the anti-gun issue, but then again, maybe Kalifornia *needs* tougher laws.

I don't think that Arnie is pro gun control so much as he is not against some form of gun control...  This may mean that he thinks Ca allready has too much gun control..  I hope so...

Either way... California is a beautiful state.  real estate will continue to go up and the state will continue to go downhill as whites leave.   I will leave when I can't stand it anymore and my property is worth all I can mil out of it.

Hopefully... Arnie will buy me a few more years here.

You sound like an overpayed non-union boss. Yeah, let's all work for minimum wage.
