I don't know.... not voting is sorta like pouting... you think you are making a point but all you are doing is dragging things down and making people ignore you.

But had he "voted", he might have prevented it...think about this for awhile. ;)

I wont vote till we come across a time, candidate or issue that really strikes me - or when we reach some period of less partisanship and constant political crap as we have seen in the past two administrations. And no I will not accept that behavior as normal and I sure wont invest my vote in such an atmosphere. Thats what it will take to jolt me out of my current disguist with the state of politics..

Grun, you know my stance on the vote issue since we discussed it over dinner, and that being that if you don't vote, you let someone else control your environment. And, you know I held my nose at the 2000 election, but why did I vote?  I vote for the lessor of the two evils because I feel all politics are evil, some to a lesser degree, and my vote prevents the more evil from taking power.

This is a landmark case IMO.

Not that Arnold won, which I'm glad to see but isn't the point.

But it set a PRECEDENT for removing  bad inempt or unliked politicians.

How long before CA recalls a congressman or senator?

This is a GOOD thing for the people IMO.
Politicians should be quaking in their shoes.

What politician isn't?

I didn't vote.. I don't agree with Davis and our economy but I couldn't get myself to vote. It's funny how his movie popularity won over the hoard so easy yet the census showed 60% thinking Arnnie doesn't understand the issues or what his "advisors" are telling.

There's a quote somewhere that states that the only difference between Hollywood and DC is that the people in Hollywood are prettier.

Can't remember who said it...

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IS DRIVING ME NUTS!  I don't give a damn how popular Arnie is because of his damn movies; he's not prepared to RUN OUR FRICKIN' STATE!

The majority of Californians voted Arnie into office for the wrong reasons (ie: movie star popularity; this blind need "for something different" even though the new guy doesn't know jack about running a government).

Not true. Sometimes you have to get someone out of office before he can do anymore damage.

Exactly, we just could not afford to keep Davis anymore. He was way to destructive. All those bill he has signed recently have to be undone (if possible)
