Aces High General Discussion / Operation Tunes Daily Briefing
« Last post by mERv on Today at 12:51:39 AM »
LCA Renegades / 490th Bombardment Squadron
Mission Debrief – Operation Tunes
Theaters of Operation: Main Arena – Rook Nation Front
Date: June 30, 2025

Classification: DEBRIEFING – OPERATIONAL SUCCESS

At approximately 2000 hours CST, Rook Nation initiated hostilities with a bold and coordinated 7-set B-24 strat raid, escorted by high-altitude fighters. Their target: Knight City.

Shortly before the bombers reached Knight airspace, intelligence confirmed the incoming Rook attack. Knight Command responded immediately, scrambling over a dozen fighters to intercept. As the bomber formation crossed into Knight-controlled skies, Knight interceptors engaged with ruthless efficiency.

A fierce air battle erupted at altitude. Despite their heavy escort, all Rook B-24 bombers were shot down before a single bomb was dropped on Knight City. The enemy's opening move was shattered, and Knight morale surged in the wake of the flawless defense.

In retaliation, the LCA Renegades, in joint coordination with the 490th Bombardment Squadron, launched Day 2 of Operation Tunes at 2030 hours CST. Operating with precision and force, three synchronized bomber wings executed a wide-scale offensive from multiple vectors.

Strategic targets, including the Rook city complex and all AAA strat zones, were obliterated with surgical accuracy. With enemy radar and resupply operations disabled, LCA forces moved to dominate the front with rapid base captures and unrelenting pressure.

Confirmed Objectives Achieved:

6 enemy bases captured on the Rook front

Rook city and AAA strat zones destroyed

Minimal losses

Full execution using three coordinated accounts

Complete airspace superiority at every engagement point

Initial Rook B-24 raid neutralized before bombs were deployed

Conclusion:
Operation Tunes was more than retaliation—it was domination. Rook aggression was met with unmatched coordination and overwhelming force. Their offensive crumbled before it began, and our counterstrike crushed any hope of recovery.

The Knights have spoken.
The BAAAHH reigns supreme.

meniscectomy at 0900 tomorrow. Hopefully just a trim and only a couple days hobbling around on my crutches. Way easier than meniscus repair or ligament replacement, that's for sure! This'll be cake. I think I'll be doing the Macarena within a week, easy.

Was hoping to never use crutches again but what the hell, it'll go quick this time.

Be ready

Use the telephone.  Dale is rumored always to be responsive.

Remember it's Texas, so there is a late time zone, definitely-not-climate-change-related storms and temperatures, brain-eating amoebas, and other factors that might delay a prompt response.

Maybe not in this case as described... there is/was a recent player HazMat, whereas HazMatt used to go by HazMatt - so a call to free up his HazMatt should get it done.  Between 10am - 3pm CST is generally best time to reach him.

i say happy 4th of july, always have. i do say merry christmas but that has a different meaning.

Cool. I always thought it odd when people said the date and not the holiday.

Maybe I need to start saying merry December 25th, happy Jan 1 and happy 4th Thursday of November!
