ICMP is the protocol ping uses. It is often disabled for security reasons. However, if bbs.hitechcreations.com replies to pings from one IP but not another then obviously ICMP is not disabled by bbs.hitechcreations.com. Hypothetically it could be blocked for some IP addresses but not others. In this instance that is not the case. As I suggested previously and Hitech confirmed, it is a routing issue with the provider Frontier. I can illustrate further how that can be should anyone actually be interested.   

I was just pointing out that thing dropped pings to a DNS server is red herring. At the end of the day going straight to a tracert will give you fairly good view of your routing (or use something like pingplotter). In NZ we frequently have "interesting" routes where ISPs here rely on upstream provides who have some quite poor peering.

I can't see why it would make a difference - other than adapting to it. Remember the P38 was equipped with a wheel.

I read the other post that it was down on Friday. I was tying to figure if it's still down or if it's something on my end.

When I try to ping it resolves to: 47.190.53.221 but I am unable to ping. I suspect the ip address has been changed but the dns has not been updated. If somebody knew the new ip we might be able to access it directly using the IP, however I doubt anything has been posted as whoever did the updates would have to access it via ip too.

Too bad they can't/won't post the logs here as I'm expecting that it won't be up soon.

I have one of these TB Velocity One Yokes, mainly for flying big ol'sky-busses on Microsoft Flight Sim, My question is;

Is there anyone out there in AH3 who uses a Yoke to fly, and if there is;
what is the experience like, how's the transition from stick?
is fine for fighters, which ones?
are you stuck in big ugly fat fellows?
what advise have you got?
