He was the first one I ever went to the DA with, I had only been playing for 2 months if that....it was a massacre. However his joystick came uncalibrated once and he crashed on the merge...I thought it was my jedi mind trick working. :D

After 2 years of trying, I finally used Skyrock's own tactics against him a few months ago. I trashed talked myself into a DA match with him after getting a lucky angle on him in the MA and he went postal, LOL. I told him he was washed up and is a "has been".
He kicked my prettythang in the DA after I got him in there, but it was worth it. I learned a coupla thangs.

Well since I returned the game, I've been playing mostly late nights to avoid the wife ack and I've been trying to stay busy with my glass blowing business in the day so I miss alot of the prime time drama, but I wanted to say that I missed it sorely and I'm glad to be back.
I came back after a much needed break to find the Pigs had not only survived my absence, thanks to Jolly and Syko, but they had once again become the butt kicking, oinking herd that made us one of the finest and most notorious squads in the game.
It's been an honor to lead this squad, and over the years, I've grown very fond of you pigs. I'm proud of this herd, from the first oink nearly ten years ago to today, you guys have always been my friends and companions.

honestly it was fun flying and Talking to you guys, seems like you are regular guys just like us, but the ol' Vulching thing still has left me with a sour stomach, when we were flying together in that huge hourde I just kept wanting to switch sides and fight all ya :lol
just cant help it, I cant stand the whole mentality of the Hourde, this game is NOT about that, never was, it's NOT about "winning the war" never was, that whole mentality I have never understood, it's like Bikers who wear Patches they need there "hourde" cuz most cant stand/fight by them selves.
I was fighting 5 nme last night, and before you know it at least 5 more jumped in c-mon how friggin lame is that. what, the first 5 was not enough...
just my thoughts.

Yea we were vulching, it's like having a beer together. A fun no-brainer activity while we were talking. A horde? There was maybe 13 folks on vox roughly half Pigs/half Muppets. Since when is 13 folks a horde? Further, would you really want to fight with a 12 person horde made up of Muppets & Pigs? :eek:

Not a 10v10, we each list our pilots from 1-10, and match up, each matchup goes best of 5, and the winner gets a point for his squad. Then we tally up the points, most possible is 10.

We may not be in the dueling league but some of us are frequently in the da dualing anyone who is willing. Often, we even send request in the MA on chan 200.

Furballing might only be a portion of the game on the macro level, but it is the most complex and advanced 'slice' of the game on the micro level. Nothing else comes close to the strategy and fundamentals involved in becoming elite in an aircraft.

why would you need to force them? It is an opportunity for team building in a furball setting.
the SDL has had 18 matches so far in its first year. Ofc we would like to have more but it is down to squadron organisation and isn't a regular schedule. You won't have "heard" about them because we have our own forum to arrange duels.....

I remember them... alting gang tards
That's when they were primarily a P-51 squad ... they changed it up and brought it down to 5K and less alt and jumped in rides like the F4F/FM2. They were the original winners of the first "Squad Dueling" challenge. Make no mistake, they could fight with the best of 'em. Night after night it was BKs bangin' heads with the 13th TAS ... some of the best fights I have ever had.
I was in the 13th TAS and when they waned away from the game, that is when I joined the BKs ... same mindset/talent.

My youngest is at A&M right now. I can tell you most professors are teaching because they do not have the ability to make it in the real world. That is at any school.

I had a (German, of course) teacher in junior high school fail me during my first year of Algebra because I wouldn't (couldnt) show my work on tests.
I could figure out the solution in my head, but I just could not comprehend equations to save my own miserable life and, thus, never used them to solve the problems. I did them all "wrong" but somehow arrived at the right answer.
Every single test; it was the same thing. 90-95% score based on the answers but I always got the paper back with a big red "F" and the notation "No work shown."
Mr. Stemler. I'll never forget that amazinhunk. He is the only teacher I had, even through college, whose name AND face I can remember. The rest; one or the other.

Dude I have been on very little but yes, Im trying to get alright in the F4U and the 38 so I can some day win KOTH. Seems those planes are just auto-loss for me when facing someone who flys them often.
