Sorry Mac....3 days before Katrina hit it was projected for the Florida Panhandle. The storm track line was on my roof. Living with these things you know that they are unpredictable. It wasnt until about 24hours before landfall that with any certainty anyone knew where it was going to hit. The projected path put it at 24 hours out somewhere between Mobile and New Orleans. It actually came in around Gulfport MS, N.O. was still in its area of destruction.

Preparations for the delivery of aid was underway well before the storm made landfall. Geez tho, it has been 4 days. This is a massive scale and not something that is going to happen overnight.

I think some of you need to ask yourselves why it is your so angry (and you are), at a bunch of poor people that got nailed by a cat 5 Hurricane. Thats what I think. :(

Their homes and some of their family gets washed away, they are left 3 days with no food or water, and they have the nerve to have manners on occasion that aren't Emily Post? The nerve of some people. "I sat in my air conditioned home while watching it all on CNN and had an MRE with my daughter, gee whats the big deal, why all the whining, I washed it down with a corona and a slice of lemon, it was just fine"

Cripes, and look at all the posters from the USA. Whats wrong with you?  "Look at them, yuk yuk, they so dumb, they didnt evacuate". You should be ashamed of yourselves, honestly.

For those without a dictionary:

I will conclude by saying that blaming the W.H. for the Hurricane damage is beyond silly, whatever party the Prez happens to be from. Nobody could have predicted, or prevented the Hurricane flooding New Orleans specifically, or upgrade the levies on 24-48 hours notice. Disasters happen, and despite all the simple minded conspiracy theorists out there (a misnomer, there is no other kind) < thats just life, accept it.

Allow me to give you guys a tip.

If you post when you are angry, you are going to do nothing but piss people off or make a fool of yourself.  Nothing positive ever came from making a post when you are angry.
