As far as Im concerned, the english have been telling americans what to do ever since we liberated the 13 colonies from the kings oppression.  Thank God we stopped listening and started shooting or we would be as crippled, ineffective and maligned as that poor old society is.

...which reminds me of a true story. An English friend of mine who now lives in the US refused to believe that there is no US word equivalent to the English word "banana". I assured him that there was no such word, but he persisted. In his "sarf London" accent, he said: "Naah mate, bananas? The Yanks have gotta have a word for it. MT... it is both the little bunny rabbit and the puddy tat that have destroyed aussie wildlife.   It seems that even the most innocuous creatures are able to whup on aussie wildlife.

Went on a bunny drive in arkansas years ago..   we killed hundreds of bunnys with 22's and shotguns.   End of the problem in the area till next season.

I read your threads for comedy value, but they are not really funny anymore. Also I am at work, and need the distraction.

Why do I keep replying? Boredom, mostly.

I am not subscribed to nor have I looked at this board since Friday, I am reading through the threads that seem somewhat interesting, lol even though this one is not really.


Just like you I will do and say as I please. I was just trying to do you a favor, but if you want to keep going on this more power to you, maybe you should sell Amway.

OK Mate, just think of this. In the recent rain storms you had, I know you were pretty appalled at the standard of driving on the freeways. People tailgating at 70-80? And yet I bet that most if not all of those drivers at least had licences, and had almost certainly had some sort of driver training. Now think of those 70-80mph idiots with guns - would you trust 'em?  Have they had to have any firearms training to get a gun permit?

Trust me. Not trying to limit firearms to you guys out of jealousy or anything like that. It's the homicides that appall me. I have a constitutional right to be appalled!

In California you have to take a little test, about as hard as a driving test to get a gun.


I think the test for driving should be much harder, the people on the road who have them amaze me.

Like people who come to a stop merging onto a freeway cause they are afraid to accelerate and merge.


I also think a stricter test for firearms would not be a bad thing. By all means make sure the guy who is buying one knows what the hell he is doing, Hell even make it an 8 hour course, but taking away the right is wrong.

In the U.S. driving a car(as far as I know) is not a constitutional right, and I would love to see the right revoked from a hell of a lot of people. I am way more at risk of being killed by some dipshit in a car then by a gun owner or criminal.
