It's what miko did.

Straffo, it's easy to say "lie", but saying it is worthless unless you prove it.  Go ahead.

But you're french, nothing you say matters anyway.

I have in the past been accused of America bashing. However I rarely enter into the political debates on here - I don't think it's an appropriate forum when so many of the participants have seen only one country.

It always cracks me up when Americans whine about their country being bashed. Seems they're only too happy and gleeful to piss all over the rest of us, and then play holier-than-thou when somebody does it to them. Any bashing threads I have initiated take the form of anecdotal tales and have been my way of redressing the balance of bashing that comes from America. And many countries have been bashed. England (dental health), Spain (election result) France (everything) Sweden, Finland, Norway (too many to list).

Now what some of these American tards do not seem to realise is that bashing is a two-way street. If they are going to bash other countries on this board, and dismiss them as pissants or nations yapping puppies or whatever it was, why should those other countries not bash back?

But no, it seems that your typical US tardling wants to use this BBS as an entertainment forum by way of being an outlet for his own nationalistic salamanderery. Kind of like the big fat kid who picks on the little skinny kid, takes a surprise punch on the nose, and then goes running to Mommy. (I chose the analogy carefully)

I suggest that instead of whining about the bashings being meted out in America's general direction, time would be better spent reviewing these boards to see what's been said about other countries in the past couple of years.

If you can't stand the heat, better stay out of the kitchen.

I take GREAT comfort in the fact that the bashers of all things non-American are NOT representative of the US population as a whole.

Ahh, beetle, the worst case scenario of basher.   Dental health?  I did that, but if your sodden brain will remember, it was only after many many threads you started bashing everything you could think of about the USA.

France?  You used this excuse (pathetically I might add) very recently, but if you cared to actually dwell upon fact, you were bashing the USA long before the American posters said much of anything about the french.  (long before Iraq war).

Spain?  Many of us were dissapointed in the Spanish for letting a terrorist group with one act change the course of their election.  I guess extortion works against the weak.

Be honest, you are just a nasty drunken Brit embarrassed of you countries current state of affairs and jealous of the pride we feel in ours.

You can try to blame us for your bad behaviour, even Dowding finally gave up trying to defend you, but the blame lays on your own shoulders.

Almost anywhere is better than Bulgaria. America must seem like he died and went to heaven. BTW no one simply decides to go to America anymore. You must get a green card either by a lottery or having special skills. Both are tough to get. No wonder he's a happy man.
I have noticed the immigrants from former communist countries, like Croatia, Cuba etc are of often effusive in their praise of their new country, not just America either. It's as if they fear any sign of disloyalty would get them into trouble. Just like in the old country. Not a good example.

I'm pro American and America bashing annoys me too. But so does France bashing or Canada or Bermuda or whatever. Spain bashing is the most cruel and absurd of them all.  Those people in Madrid died because of the support Spain gave to the US cause. Euro bashing doesn't bother me. It bothers no one because nobody calls themselves a Euro.  Although by a delicious irony the USA is mostly made up of the descendants of Europeans. It's a perfect example of what Europeans can do if they get together in common cause. The USA is more Euro than Europe.

Some of you are far too thin skinned. What is often seen as America bashing is often as much fair comment   Criticising American foreign policy is not anti American.  Saying America sucks, or Americans are tards, or Americans are stupid or cowards is.

So why do we think we can critiicise American policies? Because they often effect us directly. I pay more for gas because of the war in Iraq. The interest I pay on my loans is impacted by American economic policy. The heavy security I face at an airport is due to what happened in America which in turn is related to the actions of various US administrations. My job directly depends on how the American economy is going.

Here's a quote
Quote
In 1929 The Wall Street Crash occurred. This led to a World Depression which was partly responsible for the rise of aggressive dictatorships in Europe.

Check this site out: Those of you who constantly boast about how America saved Europe's ass.  The USA was indirectly and it must be said innocently responsible for the rise of the Nazi's in the first place.

http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/weimar_depression_1929.htm
Now you know why everyone has a vital interest in what America does or thinks

LOL Dago, you don't know a damn thing about me. I have met people in this thread, and have spoken by phone to others. They know me well, so the more you rant and rail against me, the more of an bellybutton you make of yourself in their eyes as well as mine.

Now you're trying to make it sound as if I'm the leading USA basher. And yet my name wasn't even mentioned in this thread until after I joined - on the second page.

Famous Dago Quotes - in this very thread
  • "Take Thrawn for example, that deranged butthole"
  • to straffo: "But you're french, nothing you say matters anyway.
  • Of Spain: "I guess extortion works against the weak."
If you think I'm nasty, perhaps you could point me in the direction of the charm school you attended.

One last thing to dwell on - The land area of the USA (including Alaska) occupies less than 2% of of the earth's surface. So I can't really see why you think you're that special. Keep your wheat fields - we have plenty of our own.

Lol beetle, you are such a pathetic excuse for a liar it isn't even funny.

The quotes you posted are accurate, I am guilty of speaking my mind at times and not tap dancing around my own opinions.

So, I haven't met you and others have.  I don't care how many you met in a pub.  I do know a lot of us think you are a nasty worthless person who has started so many threads negative about the USA that your opinion in anything matters not.  Only Thrawn has started more negative threads about our country.

You offer pathetic excuses and lies to try and cover your past on this board.  I accept mine, mistakes and all.

Just what the percentage of land mass of our country has to do with anything baffles me.  Most of the earths surface is water, so what?  You live on a small little island.  Doesn't matter much the size, the worth can be measured in many ways.

1) GNP
2) Aid to foreign countries and people in crisis
3) Military ability
4) Medical advances shared with the world
5) Quality of life of it's citizens
6) Health care
7) Liberty and freedom
8) Education availlability
9) Infant mortality
etc.

Pick any way you choose to measure a countries worth, make up one of your own, I certainly don't care.  But the percentage of the earth surface that any country covers really doesn't mean squat to me or about anyone else.

Very telling though that you had to fall back on something so trivial to try and put me, and in fact all Americans "in our place".

Arguing with you is really amusing as you are so lacking.
