no advise here.... I am single and so I would press charges and welcome him to try and come bother me.   I realize that having a family that is a selfish attitude maybe but...

these guys need to be taken off the street... if he allready has 2 felonies then he might be under the 3 strikes law if you have one.  If you don't press charges then the next guy he coldnoodles will be (at least partialyu) because he got away with this one.

I can say this.  I got up, and staggered a bit... and very humbly said I would be touching no such thing and he could kill me trying.  He said differently as my friend tried to keep him off my butt.  The cops said differently, and I now have to goto court because I answered with a smart arse remark.  Mind you, I now have a broken cheekbone.  Damn, that boy hit hard....

Will keep you in the know of the proceeds, but am definitely gonna think twice about getting the last word in with a punk.

got a call, that when they booked the idiot last night he had meth on him, and it was apparently quite a bit.  He also has quite a history... (Steve was correct) and is in a lot more trouble than just hitting me.  The way the det said it, is that they would rather me not press charges as they are concerned of what he might do if he finds out where I live.  It is just best that they process him on the other items and take it from there, as opposed to putting me into a problem.

So, I am undecided, I want to press charges, and I want to not be intimidated, but I also would rather not have him mess with my fiancee if he were to find out where I live.  

This really pisses me off...

Just let it go man....pride is not worth it....trust me on this one.
