OHHH Lordy...What has my beloved state done to deserve this....
better get more practice...O.K. let me see... No, we dont parlavoo Francwa...How much is this in real money??? 2.1 million...crap that'll take 1 and a half million New Yorkers if they can get one under each arm.....I'm really looking forward to BCR.

BCR also known as "Black College Reunion" Very little college and no reunion. It is a giant 72 hour street party on Atlantic Ave. A1A.
It's held in April...about 250,000 young African Americans park in the street covering an area of about 10 miles. which of course causes instant gridlock. It is to see and be seen, also known as stylin' and profilin'. for the most part they pretty much trash the place to the tune of a couple hundred grand to clean it up.
No one will sponser the event ( I wonder Why). The bright side is they are far more well behaved than the white spring brakers, on an evolutionary scale I'll put them somewhere between a small rodent and a cherrystone clam. But since I live on the Halifax near Ponce Inlet with my private boat dock...I just motor on up to St. Augustine...or down to mosquito lagoon for some tailing reds or snook...yuk yuk.

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- Maine utility crews pitched in to help restore power to thousands of Atlantic Canadians on Tuesday, a day after a blizzard dumped nearly two feet of snow on some parts of the region.

The ocean storm grazed most of Maine, leaving only a couple of inches in most areas but more than a foot in parts of Washington County.

But it escalated to a blizzard as it headed to the Maritime Provinces. Blizzard warnings remained in effect for western Cape Breton and the western coast of Newfoundland on Tuesday, as high winds and whiteout conditions were reported in those areas

Silly Mainers

Ah, beat me to it!

And they helped us out immensely when we got clobbered by ice storms in 1998 that literally shut the state down.

The amount quoted are in US Dollars, and considering not all Canadians speak French, and those that do also speak english you should have no trouble speaking to them and prying some of that money from thier pale white hands.

However should you feel that all these visiting Canadians are more trouble then they are worth it might be wise to close your boarder to them.  I suppose they could take thier money to other locations in the nearby area that might not be so picky about where the money comes from.  Let's see, there's Mexico, Turks and Cacios, Trinidad, Jamaica...and there is always Cuba....

But hey, it's your country, we can always go somewhere else......;)

nash.. I can see why you would be so angry but...  those guys you take home from the new york bars are lieing to you.   They are not cowboys.

as for rebecca peters...  I can't believe she had anything to do with getting guns taken away from aussies...  If she diod then either the aussies didn't want em in the first place or they are the dumbest critters on earth because she got slaughtered in the debate with LaPierre.   She doesn't know anything about guns.  she is both lazy and hysterical... a typical liberal.

Tronski said that was all bollocks as far as Australia goes.

And I can confirm that it's all bollocks as far as Britain goes too.

Better check the homicide stats for the US/Britain/Australia.  Erm... who did you say was paying a price? :D

One last question - have you ever been out of your home state?

Bustr's erroneous observation was "Now if she could only wave her magic wand and give Australia and Great Britan's citizens back their lives before they were murdered, raped, and robbed due to being disarmed" - and as tronski has already pointed out, it's bollocks. It's not us that are getting murdered - well OK, about 750 people were, by various methods - as compared with 16000+ murdered in the US in the same period.

Now if only Charlton Heston could wave his magic wand...

...but even if he could, your homicide levels will always be many times what ours are.
