Aces High takes the art and science of vintage WWII air
combat and sets it in an online high intensity environment where
hundreds of players can battle it out with and against each
other.  High fidelity air combat is the heart of Aces High , but it
doesn't end there.  In addition to flying a multitude of aircraft
types, players can also man vehicles, boats, amphibs, gun
batteries, and ships.

Guess the gvs are staying on the back burner. Have to live with
ostis/tanks loosing turrets to 1 pass from all planes.
That really is a shame.:(

No one really "won" anything.

Its Aces High
(only nowadays they're "higher" than ever before.)

IMHO 99% of the player base here came to fly. I could be wrong though.

I might add that HTC has improved GV's. There are always going to be anomalies such as 1 ping and your turret is out... Or A single pass from a 51 straffing...

On the same token, you have many strange anomolies while in the air fighting...

Please don't exagerate when criticizing AH.

and an osti should lose its turret in 1 pass it has a big hole in the top.

Yep no more "bouncing tiger", but we have trees that'll filp ya over. Same with buildings. It is pretty cool how, IF someone brings you vech sups your tank will right itself and you can keep going.:rofl  I'ld trade bouncing tiger for trees & bldgs flipping tanks anyday. It also seems that with each new version more and more planes can take out turrets. ie A6Ms, 202s, and 205s now have greater chance of taking out the turret of the gv I'm driving. Yes I am not "rubber necking" while i drive.
Oh well, life goes on.

Well, it seems the simple solution would be not to run into trees or buildings if you know there is an issue.

Who's exagerating or criticizing? Nevermind, not worth it.

I came to actualty bomb and then fly the fighters.

What can I say I like raining death from above but its cool that we do have an option to have ground warfare as well as aerial combat.

I like to be well rounded so for me it presents itself as a game that when I get tired of one aspect there are other avenues I can go with and still enjoy myself.
