can you play aces High on a non-microsoft windoze operating system?

in fact can you play 90% of the games or use at least 1/2 the software on the market on a non-microsoft windoze operating system?

I run SP2 on everything, work systems home systems Etc. Have no problems with anything.

There is nothing new in this MS always stops supporting old versions. Every company does the same thing. Will you be upset when they drop support for 98 and ME as well?(have they done this yet? )

Is that Microsoft's fault? Who makes that game software?

Nice try NUKE.  When anothre operating system garners the market share Windows has, I am sure you will see a lot more application support for it.

So to answer the question properly.  The user is the reason Aces High has to run on Windows.  They spoke with their computer and operating system purchases.

The user is also why MS has a stranglehold on the market.

Them's the reality.

SP2 only FUBAR's system which were/are badly in need of a reformat and reinstallation.  Or things that were poorly written to begin with.

And yes GTo, MS has dropped support for 98 and ME.

As of right now XP is pretty good, best OS they have ever done.

I fear the new stuff coming from them though. I dont want to have to download O/S chunks on the fly from MS.

Maybe they wont follow through though.

WHOOOOO HOOOOOO may they die the misrable death they deserve!! (98 was not so bad for its time but DAMN ME was BAD)

Skuzzy, all true. But to blame Microsoft is in no way remotely  accurate.

I remember when the Amiga (sp) came out......nothing compaired to it.....not even close.
