This particular range has rules against extending bayonet and, with a war cry, stabbing people….. ….. ;-)

Russian,
 Have you been to Chabot?

They have signs that say no more then 2 rounds in a SKS due to to many sear failures.

Do they enforce it?

Never been there...but I know Dixon does not care about it. I usually have 10 round clips...and ranger doesn't care about it.

Do you give them one last wish before you shoot 'em?
A ciggarette mebbe?
Line 'em up against a wall?

What sort of weapon do you fire at them when you are shooting these guns?

You dont shoot 'em, you fire or discharge them and technically they arent even guns, but small arms.

:)

Pity it's half a world away, or I'd join you guys in a flash.

I'd love to do something like that.  I have limited experience with handguns but a lot of shotgun and rifle experience.

I'm definately interested. I have an 1896 45-70 Springfied that needs some room to stretch it's legs. I have a Ruger MKII 6 7/8" bull that I shoot at my local indoor range regularly, that I would bring as well. I might even bring my Air Force Condor PCP air rifle. Supposed to be capable of 1" groups at 100 yards.

May I suggest:

I haven't been to these yet, but it's a heck of a lot closer than Dixon, for me and Wolfala at least.

The chabot gun club is not in dixon, and I really doubt most of the people going will want to shoot on a 1000 yard range.

I am flexable on the location, but Salinas seems a bit far.
