You can put  ~~~FATE~~~ squad in wherever you need. Not certain of the numbers but it looks like it might be a strong show..
Destiny brought you here, now FATE will deal with your six!

Damn, we're in a tight spot!

Great Bannor, see you there :)

Those that are ok with floating, bringing strong squads with you, let's see how the arena shakes out tonight and I might impose and ask you to beef up a side.

Thanks guys, should be fun.

UNFORGIVEN will be there. Request 190/109 duty for the AXIS but will pull fighter escort for Allied if numbers are low. No clue to the numbers yet. Call it between 1-21. :D

WTG Virtual Pilots.  I had a huge amount of fun tonight.  To the Axis fighters following a group of 5 or 6 buffs from Frankfurt south to just north of Stuttgart salute to you.  Way to keep your alt and coordinate your runs on the bombers.  You managed to get quite a few of our bombers.

Thanks ROC and others who had a part in planning, hosting, and designing this snapshot.

I was only able to get on for one sortie. All I remember was a lot of 152's and D-9's in 12-10-2 area.

Was fun, see you guys after vacation.

great scenario.

got a 1 ping pilot wound first life and dove out of the 30k fight but 1 p47 stuck with me looking for blood. couldnt turn much without blacking out so drug him for kappa. was flying along on auto about to black out and my foot jostled the rudder pedals and knocked autopilot off and i started to climb while blacked out and couldnt turn the autolevel back on. the p47 got 2 more pings on me as i came to and must have hit me in the head because i exploded. would have escaped but i screwed up

seconds later kappa blew him to smithereens though

upped again and killed a few more with my squaddies and they got several kills too. landed safely as well. was great fun. :)

Wow, 202 People at peak time.   More than I expected, I hope you all had fun.

Logs are UP  Logs

Congrats to Fester with 12 Kills!!

WTG!!

Now, Scoring, just wait, I'm too wiped to count buildings so I'll score it this weekend.

There WILL be some modifications, there Were some pilots that had issues with air spawns, and being a Semi Formal event I'll be kind.

Great job by all, hope it was fun.

Few?  What's a Lot?  96?  Cripes you got 12 kills, I don't manage that in a TOUR lol

Was fun!

I was totally pissed in the beginning cause I got stupid and got myself killed my have vented a tad to much hehe. There was also a moment were I had a miscommunication with a person towards the end of the frame but I believe that is all water under the bridge now.

After that first major furball things got better. Our whole squad had a ball and really liked it after we got settled down. This was kind of a test to see how we would all like organized events on a larger scale like this and if we would all like FSO. Seems like everyone one in our group had fun and we are looking forward to the next FSO. :)

Honestly I had little if any fun. The entire thing was a total cluster f@#% from the get go.

While I've got two Allies in particular I've got gripes against on this scenario, I'm only calling out one because IMO he dropped the ball like it was covered in a healthy dose of WD-40, and he was the last one who SHOULD have had butterfingers.

Where was RatmanCH?

Informal scenario or not, I still expect that when someone volunteers to lead that they be ready to LEAD.

For about 20 minutes I'm sitting on channel trying to get his attention to confirm my squad's rides and what the specific plan of attack was and didn't hear a SINGLE thing from him the entire time I was on. We eventually had to just pick for ourselves and to hell with balancing. NO ONE knew anything more than what was in the Arena Message and what ROC told us (which amounted to following the 2-target plan and that was pretty much it). There was no leadership, no sense of planning, no organization whatsoever. Even Main Arena horde's had a better sense of structure than this.

And what irritates me the most is that after the experience of FSO, I was looking forward to more of that structured gameplay tonight.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Was alot of fun....that was me that you were fighting there at the end in that endless turn, you would of had me if that friendly hadn't shown up to help me out .

and what ROC told us

I was cringing watching you muddle through that Saxman, once the CO steps up, there is little I can do without taking the job from him, as host, I can't.

He and I did have a good talk afterwards, and I invited him to an upcoming CO Academy that 68Falcon and I have been working towards.  This should help out with showing potential COs what's expected.

Hindsight being 20/20 and all, Stampf led the Axis and stepped up last week, we've been trying to get leadership for this in place in advance but no one would take the position for allied.

Now, Snapshots are Always like this, leaders stepping in with T-5 lol  FSO are far more formal, so we were Almost there :) had the Axis lined up at least.

I have to admit though, I know it was frustrating but you really did manage your guys well Sax, thank you for that.

It was.... "okay"... and I say okay because I can stand being gang banged... I can stand being shot down... I can't stand losing a wingtip, flying 3 sectors at 150mph with flaps down, lining up at a22, gear down, slow down, full flaps, and 2 Ta152s HO me. I take hits and miraculously lose no parts. So they turn around (I'm clearly lined up on the field and no way they missed my gear down on that HO, I could see the whites of his eyes), and then shoot me down after bleeding all speed and E to turn and chase me down after 2 more minutes.

*THAT* put a huge frickin' damper on my mood.

Not to mention the 5+ axis cons looking to vulch at a22 while I was in the tower after this distasteful act took place.
