C'mon, Apple came up with an OS that looked like vista back in 2003...

We switched to Vista at our office- of course I don't recommend Vista to non computer people, or even people with some knowledge of operating systems, but in the hands of an expert (like me) Vista is the only way to go.

My Powerbook running panther from 2005 has yet to be reinstalled, looks better than vista and has not crashed on me yet.

I would gladly switch to OSX if they would release it for PC's.  However, it seems to be a little more difficult to write an OS that runs on millions of combinations of components vs. the paltry 10 machines that Apple sells. (at outrageous pricing)  If their OS is that good then step up and go toe-to-toe with MS.

It would be crazy for Apple to try to go toe to toe with MS. They have a niche market in which some users are willing to pay for their products. It would be like a craft beer maker going toe to toe with Budweiser.
