One question from me.....is it possible to add a better graphics card to your labtop?
As has already been said, very rarely will you be able to do this unless you bought a laptop specifically with upgradable features.
However, you can add memory to your Laptop. On the bottom of your Laptop there will be a door that you can open (normally with a philips head) inside there should be no less then 2 memory slots. One or both should be in use. Normally Laptop memory goes in at an angle and then lays down for a more compact design, ensure you read your manual or grab it offline if you do not still have it before you try and add/replace your memory on the LapTop.
Unlike your PC that can carry memory on the Motherboard, Video Card, and Sound Card. Your laptop uses all that memory in the door on the bottom for everything. A small upgrade makes a large difference. Memory is pretty cheap right now so it is a good time to upgrade. One suggestion I would make however is to stick with a good brand of memory for your laptop. Corsair, Kingston are some of the best. I say this simply because your laptop does not have the air flow your PC will. Good memory will last you a very long time. Cheap-O generic memory could last you several years or several months.
