Well I didn't get on in time to get up close to start of thread so probably nobody will read this but for myself, I have no interest in WWI planes in any shape fashion or form.  I like what Dale is doing with this game and wouldn't fly the other areana.   This game has all I am interested in.  I have several games I bought right after I started with this game, and each one got played about 3 times before being put in a box in the closet or thrown in the trash, and that applies to both WWI and the Korean war games.    I am not interested in paying more for something I won't use.

If the price doesn't change are you really that put out?

its a nice idea, but wouldnt the time be better spent improving the WWII arena first? before going on another tangent? theres tons of aircraft and gv need to be worked on and added.

This is just a "red herring" for don't do it.  If we WWI types have to wait for what you suggest I will be long gone like the real canvas crates (meaning dead not quitting AH).  I bet if HTC added 2.50 a month for use of this new arena and all you solid WWII guys opted out you would soon be crying that you couldn't get in to the WWI arena.

The facts are that if this new arena draws a bunch of former AH guys back plus brings in some new blood it will INCREASE HTC's ability to add content to all arena's  :rock

On the other hand if WWII (the era that brought all of us here to AH) goes stagnant... you better hope WWI draws way more than just the few here "interested".

SLASH// I am not interested in WWI at any cost.  I like the WWII planes we have.  I have tried other era games after I found aces high 1 and just did not enjoy them the way I do aces high period.  It is just not my thing.  I even tried world war on line didn't like it either, so I just stay with aces high and my poker stars,  to each his own.

Thats the cool thing Chief, you can just ignore the WWI arena, and log into the LW arenas as usual without bothering. Nice to have choices eh?
