What irked me was when they started posting URL's to their hacking website on Country channel and 200(IIRC).  At that point they needed to be chat muted.  I tried to organize a mass .report on the two guys but I'm not sure it worked because they were still yapping away about their website and youtube.  That should have been dealt with quicker and more effectively imo.  How many .reports does it take to chat mute somebody that is in blatant need of it?

If this post is not appropriate for this thread, I apologize.

Yep.   Everyone on our Channel Grizz, reported both.

I've been playing AH for almost 4yrs.  ANYTIME I have every had a concern, whether it be PC, skinning, exploit, warping, or bug issue they have been top notch at responding. As a community we should be so thankful to have customer service like we have from HTC.  In my 29 yrs on planet earth, I have never seen such great support for the customers.

I like many others are in hard times right now with losses in the job markets, ill family members, divorces or whatever it may be. I have and will continue to make sacrifices to keep my AH subscription going. The customer service is outstanding and is really what makes AH shine.   And to be honest, in some of my darkest times in RL, I know I can escape for a bit in the animated skies of AH, a place where let my troubles float on by and enjoy sometime with people who have a common interest as myself.

I take great pride in saluting the general community that I fly with and against, the creators, tech support, office support team at HTC for a great product, and speedy reactions to any concerns that arise. Your work is appreciated by many.

The only thing I wish is HTC made it a monthly habit to keep the community informed on whats going inside HTC.  The early previews and even simple text is always a welcome suprise.

Well, what those guys did was lame.  Even the hack itself was lame.  But, hey, big WTG to the community for making it a success.  Had you guys left it alone, HT would come in in the morning, ban them, fix the security hole and the whole thing would have been a big nothing.  But noooooooo lol, every one had to run around like chickens with their heads cut off.  Really, if it happens again just ignore them.  Attention is what they wanted and attention si what you gave them.  NOt every single person online needs to tell them that they will be reported, band, that you are running film, that you will email HT, etc lol.  My guess is that they knew that  :lol  Just leave it alone and its a fail.  React like last night and you give them what they want.  And unless you are working for HT and have power to do something about it, stop trying to make a citizens arrest  :aok

Just report them quietly and avoid them next time.

Wow, just wow. I know Diver, I like Diver. He's one of the most standup guys that play the game. Did he meltdown? Without a doubt. Did he have a good reason? Without a doubt. Was it a smart move? That's for Diver to decide.

Personally, I think both could have handled this better.

I've been around Diver through the game for a few years, and I know him enough in real life to be certain he is a stand-up guy. We all screw up, and as long was we admit it, we're better off. <<S>> Diver8up.

I could be mistaken, but from looking at the avatar line, I am going to assume (based on the fact that there is only 7 posts associated with diver8up) that diver8up, is NOT the Diver8up we are accustomed to seeing in game.  If I had to make a leap of assumption, I would guess that the diver8up you just read from, is likely to be the hacker-dude trying one more step to discredit or slander someone else while at the same time insulting Skuzzy and Pyro.  I don't know the 'real' diver, but I know he has been around long enough to have more than 7 posts.

I think we just read from a 'new' BBS account using a name from the game we are used to seeing.  This is a sad and lame attempt by an idiot to 'get even' with someone who probably spanked him or insulted him (by winning) in game.

But that is just my educated guess (otherwise known as opinion).

I have to correct you, NC. This is the genuine Diver-dude. I know this for fact.
When things cool down, I would highly suggest both Diver & Dale reconsider their stance.

I think it is pretty obvious Diver was taking this game way too seriously. If he could melt down and go off on Hitech, I can imagine what he could do in the MA to someone he doesn't have to worry about.

I think the AH vacation may do him a lot of good, I'm also willing to believe he will be back eventually.

I've been around him, and he has yet to prove that behavior. No evidence in game has surfaced that I have seen.
