Thank you Bailey.

It was a trip I won't forget. I've done a lot of open party fishing and of course there will always be tangles and anglers that don't follow their bait, etc. But with 32 ppl on a 93' boat, we actually worked really well together and the deckies were quick on their feet.

We worked a couple schools of porpoise and that's where the yellowfin came from. YT and mahi came off of paddies.

I put one of the YT whole on the bbq...tasty.

My buddy with the pics is rather slow at getting around to things, I'll post up the pics when I get 'em.

Good luck if you get to go,  as they say ~tight lines 'n sharp hooks~

 :salute

They're casting their bait over there, see?

Ice fishing has been pretty good so far. Filled the freezer up with perch fillets a couple weeks ago.  I've caught 27 walleyes in the last week or so and not a single keeper. :bhead

31 degrees when I went out before first light today, it felt like summer after the last couple weeks.  Wasn't anything to write home about, but did manage some decent perch and a couple little saugers.

How about some spear fishing.....with just a spear.  No gun.  Old school.

World record Wahoo caught here last month:

Nice job Tec!  I hear ya with the  31 degrees being balmy.

'Bout all the fishing I've been doing is watching the new fishing shows, really like Major League fishing.  Not into the ice fishing, was thinking of next year giving a crack at some winter steelhead fishing though.

Man I love trout fishing, and steelheading looks like it would be awesome, but when the water is 30 degrees I'd rather be standing on top of it than up to my nuts in it.  The fact that I rarely make it through a day on the stream without eating toejam and putting a couple gallons of water down my waders might factor into that opinion though.
