I say for absolute certain that it was pay per hour at first on AOL.  It was under premium games and was 2 or 3 bucks an hour.  I remember very clearly when they announced it was going to all you can eat.  I was excited because I didn't make much money at all then and I was glad of the savings.

Ah, yes -- I do remember that now that you mention it.  I, too, remember how happy I was when AOL went flat fee.  It felt like a lucky miracle at the time, to be able to play for some nominal monthly fee instead of, say, a couple hundred dollars per month! :)

Any word on the patch progress?

"OK, the A's have it.

Time to start the patch production process.

Donations for the process are welcome.  Here is how to donate: http://electraforge.com/brooke/flightsims/patches/patches.html"

I know you're busy, Brooke, so I can fully understand if it's a time restraint.  If it's fund I'll see what I can do Monday. :)

Folks, the sewouts on the Philippine Phandango patch is in.  It looks great!

I'm proceeding with the production run.  Once I have them in hand (a couple of weeks), I'll post a picture here, update the web page, and call for folks to submit their patch orders.

Hello, pilots of the scenario "Philippine Phandango".

The patches have arrived, and they look like this.  Thank you, Krusty, for a beautiful design.

If you'd like one (and I'd like very pilot in the scenario to have one), please visit this web page and fill out an order request:
http://electraforge.com/brooke/flightsims/patches/patches.html

If you would like to submit a voluntary donation to the patch fund, instructions on how to do so are on that page.  Donations are completely voluntary -- even if you do not donate, we'd like you to have a patch.  We want all scenario pilots to have patches for the scenarios they flew in.

Also, the next scenario is Battle Over Germany.  Frame 1 starts on February 12.  It is an epic battle between the US 8th AF and the Luftwaffe, spanning Feb, 1944 through April, 1945, with an evolving plane set to match that time period.  It involves P-51's, P-47's, P-38's, B-17's, and B-24's vs. Bf 109's, FW 190's, and Bf 110's and a small number of Me 262's and Me 163's.

Please join us for this scenario.

Dates, times, more details, and a link to registration are here:
http://ahevents.org/scenario-current-or-next.html

Best regards,
