Common thread to folks now having crashes from AH???

it has happened to me on many different maps,, in mid and late war as well as offline!

mine just went down  out of the game trying to watch a windows film at full screen,   so i my problem may not be the same as anyone else's   who knows,, can't  get it to come back up right now, gonna let it cool off a bit!
 on my linux machine right now!

I spoke too soon... the problem reared its ugly head tonight in Blue, Mindnao map is getting the bug. Fortunately, I was able to relog into orange which had the Uterus map and the problem of the strange artifacts disappeared.

Maybe I'm wrong, Skuzzy, but I'm more and more convinced it is a map issue.

I couldn't play in Blue last time Mindnao was up. Everything has been fine since it was rotated out. See you in Orange.

Sooooo, has this issue been solved?

Is it a problem associated with Window 7? Or just any old 64 bit system.

I ordered a new computer last week specifically to play this game.

Of course it comes with Windows 7 64bit home version.

Now you guys have me gettin all antsy about even downloading the game onto the system.

the current blue arena makes me crash. It made me crash last time it was up too. The trees float above the ground and then crash...

It is related only to Windows 7 64 bit.  The problem still exists.

Snoozer, remove the terrain from your local ahiiterr folder and let the game download and install it again.  Make very sure to disable any anti-xxxx software before you do it.

I'm sure this is the wrong thread to ask this question, but--are there people using a 64 bit system that AREN'T having problems?

It happened to Silat last night while I was there.  I think he disconnected 3 times in 20-25 minutes of playing while in Blue.

blue arena crashed 4 times within approximately 35 to 40 minutes.  Using Windows 7 64 bit

I won't have time to fly until later tonight or tomorrow, but I'm running W7/64. I will see if it causes me a crash. I KNOW the game has to be loaded with "reccomended settings".

I haven't experienced it at all on my system.  (Caveat, I probably have played less than 25 total hours since the problem was first reported.)

Not one single problem with my Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit with hundreds of flying hours.  Every once in a rare while I get a crash when leaving an arena... but it's only happened maybe twice.

I had an Nvidia 9800GTX, but recently upgraded to a ATI 5830... didn't have problems with either video card.

Lost 64 perks in my Tempest to this great crash!!!!!!,,,Thanks so much!!!!!   This is ridiculous, I pay $30 a month for me and my son and we are unable to fly perk planes do to this crash crapp, as we are afraid we will loose them. Common guys fix this. I think I am going to cancel my subscriptions and just keep up on the boards till its fixxed. Watch out Battlefeild Bad Company here I come.
