If it helps, the disco'd also seem to be tied to which terrain is being used.  I have two squaddies reporting this problem and they couldn't stay logged in to blue last night which was running the new Mindanao (which I probably just spelled wrong) they were getting dropped 2-3 times an hour it seemed like.  We switched to Orange and played there for a few hours w/out any problems.

Note we're talking crashes, not discos. Also, the Blue and Orange arenas are hosted on separate servers.

Folks, please only post in this thiread if your computer is running Windows 7 64 bit or Vista 64 bit.

There is something that has happened, the plast few days, related to those operating systems which is manifesting as a crash bug in the game.

If you are running either of the above operating systems, I would like to know what services (if any) you have disabled in them and whether of not you are having game crash issues.

My system is totally stripped down now. I doubt the system could even turn on if I shut another thing down or removed another program. I didn't crash in Frame II of the Scenerio, but if I enter the MA I crash each and every time now. I have experienced no problem in the DA.

Crashes started a few days ago here, too. Graphics freeze requiring ctrl-alt-del to bring up task manager and close proggy.

Windows 7 64Bit Pro, ATI 4670, on-board sound, no swap file, clean install, dedicated HDD, default services.

It started happening the day I subscribed, so I assumed it was the downloading of plane skins that was doing it. Turning that feature off didn't correct it.

The game crashed about 10 times this weekend after never having done so before.

Common folks, I need data.

I also need to know how many of you are using an OEM copy of Windows 7 64 bit, which you installed yourself, versus it coming pre-installed on an OEM computer (i.e. Dell, HP,....).

Mine is an OEM copy which I installed on a clean system.

What kind of "data" do you require? DXDIAG printout, or...?

For those who are not having any crash issues with Windows 7 64 bit, I need to know what services, if any, you have disabled.

I need to know if it an OEM copy you installed yourself as well.

How about power management settings?

I have an OEM copy of Win7 Ultimate 64 bit, yes, I also installed it myself.

Which services do you want to know about, exactly? I have windows firewall disabled as well are remote connections. Which others are you referring to?

Did you make any changes to the advanced listings in the "high performance" setting, or are they the Windows 7 defaults?

Yes, I made sure that everything is always running and never shuts off except the monitor. The monitor I set for power off at the 30 minute mark of inactivity.
