Kinda bummed. Found a heli crash today, got an FN FNAL thinamajigger (with the night vision scope) and got killed right before I click abort to change servers and group up with my crew....lost my camo, however; a team mate picked up an M14 at that crash for me after they looted me and ran.

I know how to fly :) I played arma 2 before dayZ was out.

there will probably be a lot of pvp but i can guarantee there will be no admin abusing their powers as is common on other servers

Got smoked by a server hopper tonight about 10 minutes after getting my buddy his AS 50 back and getting my PK 48 LMG back.

Both of us lost our NVGs too...

Time for me to uninstall DayZ and stick to Arma II:OA for a few days.

Had a great morning.I got a call last night to go to dinner so I logged off on the top a Pik Kozlova. I did not want to log off there but I was in a hurry. Anyway I logged in this morning and turn and look and BAM 4 tents maybe 10 meters away. They are filled with military stuff so I loot and run. I took a as50,rangefinder,NVGs and see a coyote back pack. I get in touch with a friend and we arrange to meet he was far north west and so we meet half way. On our way back to get him the backpack we find a down heli and loot it. Found a FAL, L85 and a set of NVGs for him.

2 things to learn from what kilo2 states...never, ever setup camp on top of mountains or in valley between two mountains. Also try to spread your tents out far enough apart that if one gets raided the others may not be subjected to same raiders. This goes for real life as well.

Also Pik Kozlova is a haven for snipers to use those AS50's and M107's to snipe unsuspecting players who respawn down around Cherno and Elektro.
