Spitfires are less dweeby than 109's.

I find myself more successful in 109's than in Spits. Simply because 109's 9/10 can disengage from a fight, extend, gain alt and rejoin the fight. 109 G14's are the best IMHO, turn tighter than a K4, and are still quick enough to cause most aircraft a headache.

Spitfires accelerate and turn much better than almost everything, however as stated above. It is ALWAYS on the defensive against 51's, 109's, 190's. Its only capability is to dodge and hope the pilot is dumb enough to maneuver. Zekes and Hurri's out turn and out gun them as well.

Doesn't the spit have landing flaps only?.....or is the modeling off enough to gain an advantage in maneuvering?

I agree enough with Plawranc.

I tried 109 and 190 (La7 also).
It's true they can disengage and gain altitude better the spits.

My joystick is setted(?) for USA aircrafts.
This is the only cause why i don't flight German planes.

I think that German planes have more 'rooms' than USA planes.
It's just an opinion.

Ink if they have a star in front of there name you have to add the star.  Example  instead of .squelch who  it would be .squelch *who       you'll find the Astrix on your keyboard, Everytime I log on he's the first one I squelch I just wish there was a perma squelch option

This dosn't work for me...there were a couple of other guys that it didn't work for as well. I tried several times , guess I'll try again.

What I understand:

A "real" man's fighter should be slow, large, unmaneuverable, fragile, lightly armed, have poor visibility and be a slow climber.  I guess the P-40C is as close as we get.

Anything better and you're a dweeb who is just taking the easy route.

QFT....Spits can't run from fights.  They're committed from the git-go unless its a altfairy, 109 driver at the wheel.  Nothing is more funny than seeing a guy run a Spixteen at 18K like a 109.
