I quit resupplying objects in AH. It's boring.
Not nearly enough value in it either!   Re supply perks should be huge!  Or at least,,  More than they are now!

For the time invested, they actually are. Most players can make more perks in the same time by resupply than by combat. (Average perk gain per hour in GV or bombers is much lower than commonly believed, for "I got 40 perks in a single sortie" stories are an exception, not the rule).

Also it might turn out very bad for a combat game when reparing stuff is going to be that much more rewarding than defending it.

Not as bad as when you're forced to choose between being blindfolded or having to ferry crates for the next hour. Turn it or twist it, dropping HQ sucks royally when numbers are low.

My comment had nothing to do with the HQ issue directly.
It's a warning about removing too many players from the frotn by making non combat activities more rewarding. The fundamental issue of the HQ is not being solved by getting everybody into a goon (Which may not even be available in the first place during off hours)

(It takes something more significant to drive me to log. Usually it involves food or sex.)  :D
I hear next version HT is going to include a Piza Pie Factory and a Brothel in the strat system.

I still fail to understand why HTC can't take 5mins to change the hq hardiness....Is watching a game die fun?

HT explained a few days ago, maybe a week, that it is not as simple as everyone thinks or he would have done it.
From May 28, 2015:
"I would have made changes long ago but The code was frozen long ago current AH release. And hence what would be a simple change under normal conditions now is not doable.

About as much fun as the constant whine threads.

Wingman: "Roger, It's 1:30 now, what do I do 'til then?"

Well, that'll make logging off practically impossible.  :D

I frankly dont blame HiTech. He has never lied to us and I think he's an honest man. And I think AH is an honest company. I think the game itself has attracted to many griefers. It isnt just one player hitting these HQs to "grief" others ; Its a larger percentage of the player base then we've ever had before doing it.

There are limits to adjusting code on the fly, most of all with such an old write. And to do so while trying to get a new version out?? Does it make sense on his end?

Boy that Bishwit calling out for others to bomb an HQ 1 min into a new map last night?? When we had about 40 total drowned in that humongous map? Pathetic! Had I to do it over again I would have joined him and called out plane info and Alts on 200 just to ruin his grief mission.

Shouldn't you be resupplying your HQ? 47 runs left, it HAS to be done soldier!!!

I still fail to understand why HTC can't take 5mins to change the hq hardiness....Is watching a game die fun?

I'm with you, Nuke. I'm at a total loss as to why the HQ problem (and it IS a big one)
based on what I see both in the forums and in the text buffer in-game. The level of player
dissatisfaction with it is huge.
These days I often see something like the following in the text buffer:
"Hi guys, just loggin' in, where's the fight at?" followed soon after by.... "Well, I see HQ is
down again, I'm loggin' off".
There's a reason that the MA used to be packed so heavily and why these days it's not.
It is player/subscriber attrition which is not being offset sufficiently by newer players/subscribers.
The reason(s) for that attrition? Well, I'll take a wild guess here and say it is stale gameplay
and a lack of a feeling of "having fun".
It is my hope that with the new AH engine comes a better and more fun operational
and strategic part of the game.
The majority of the old squads in AH blew up or disbanded in most cases due to HTC
implementing the "split arenas"; effectively disallowing those squads to have a
formal "squad night" which was a big draw for a lot of "pilots" who could only fly
one night per week. Those squads were a very big reason subscriptions climbed back
then. But, they got killed off with the split arenas.
Now, it seems as if the folly continues, but is this time directed at individual pilots
as opposed to squads.
  Why? Chirp.......chirp.......chirp ....

Regards, Odd
