Big Ten has better than usual teams slotted in each bowl due to no team in the championship.

There's a pretty obvious fix for that... or was, anyway.

Oh, the horror!

My beloved Wolverines have been slain, and lay bloody upon the battlefield.  :cry

Congratulations to South Carolina for remaining scrappy and charging back for the win.

looks like Bama will win and another SEC national championship match.

I can see the outcry on this.  One will be that any team has to win their conference championship to play for the national playoffs.

I think UCF makes a strong argument for an 8-team playoff that guarantees at least 1 non power conference team in participation.  Then there should be 1 representative from each power conference, and the rest at-large.

Don't be too frustrated, though, Branch.

They didn't win, but they played a heck of a game and showed excellent skill and end the year being clearly still one of the nation's best teams.  :aok

Auburn played three of the four teams in the final four during the regular season beating both alabama and georgia.  UCF had a better team than both teams playing for the national championship.

I agree 100%...

Lincoln Riley left off right where Stoops did....sucking it up in a big game...At least this year I can't say it was "Big Game Bob betting against his team"
