Shuffler, I went with the Fractal Define 7 case for my latest rebuild, a very flexible case in terms of options for how you might set it up.  I looked at a lot of options and this seemed to be the best for my preferences.  Went with the ASUS Rog Strix Z-390-E Gaming, and also like this board.  For CPU I went with the i7-9700K, as I felt the i9 did not give you enough extra for the greater $, at least when I was buying.

Those specs oughta work for ya Shuff. As for a case, my current build is in a Lian Li PC 011 Dynamic. I like it a lot. Stylish with glass panels and a joy to build in. Really well designed but geared more towards liquid cooling. If the glass isn't your thing they have a similar case for air, PC 011 Air with more focus on airflow.  The Fractal Design Meshify-C is another good case for air.

I'll have liquid cooled processor.

The Fractal case I saw on Parts Picker, liked it a lot. I need to check out the case you have.

The only problem I can see is how Windows will handle that much RAM. Things have gotten much better since I last tested that much, but Windows really isn't that stable on anything over 32GB. You may have to go to the commercial edition, which is what I did with AutoCAD and 3DS Max in order to get the Quadro cards stable. Otherwise you run the risk of unscheduled reboots, system crashes, and worse. Certainly, if I was going to build a new system I would go to Puget Systems and let them find something optimal for my needs. I doubt I would go liquid either way.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I like that case too. I am leaning towards the Lian Li PC 011Dynamic I think.

You bought / shopped the Gen 9 pdocessors. I am shopping the Gen 10.

I would actually buy 2 sticks of high quality 32GiB RAM and use 2 RGB dummies if you really need the RGB (RGB gives more FPS!!!!).
High quality RAM is something like Crucial Ballistix 3200/3600 CL16 (version with RGB existing + red/white Heatspreader).
Be warned that many of these RGB control programs actually have an adverse effect on performance, many of them are really badly programmed and consume CPU resources.

Corsair H150i Pro.

I swapped the fans that came with it for Corsair QL fans, they have lights on both sides. Those 3 are inlet, the other 6 are outlet. The video card mount is a Phanteks. It was rated better and cheaper than the Lian Li.

Was there not enough room for your card without the mount?

WOW I just pulled the trigger on the processor. Unless you want to pay $300 more than their suggested price, you have to wait and look.

Best Buy has them at $529. I got on the alert list last Thursday and received an alert at 12:30 am on Friday. I looked at it and thought that I would get it in the morning. NOPE!! Sold out already.

I just looked real quick and saw Newegg had some in at $549. I jumped on it. Should be here Friday.

Early on you mentioned wanting a i9-9900K. Is that what you just purchased?

Do you have a spec list to share? I'm looking to update my system and would like to see what you've chosen.

I hope not. 9900k runs 379 at best buy.
