Wasn't there a US Spit Mk V group in Italy?  We don't have an early enough P-38 do we?

The P-38L could be included in a 1944 setup, its pretty much identical to a P-38J-25. I would add it simply for variety in some setups, it certainly isnt any better than a P-51B as a fighter.

The USAAF 31st FG flew Spitfire IXs in Italy before going to P-51s.

Again, this all depends on what time frame you aim for, but Italy would be fun to be sure.

Should I cut it out?  Will it make me go blind?

when you're using the external film viewer, check the box
"ignore recorded views" when the film starts - that will stop the film from following your view changes as you made them while filming.  then you can use external/chase/fixed views to be outside your plane and selecting "pan" will allow you to pan your perspective. use [  and  ] keys to zoom in/out.  also you can select "trails" which will start a trail as your plane moves along. and of course selecting "icon" will show the plane's icons (except your own).

this is with the external (stand alone) film viewer ahfilm.exe that you have. there's an "in game viewer" the "film" bar on the AH splash screen that sends you to a similiar, yet less powerful film viewer. it is, however, easier and better for snapping screenshots from.

i'd suggest using combat trim for a month or 2 and if you don't like it, you can always disable it. personally i use it.

and yes, you should stop with the RR weenie yank stick to spine stuff.

Oh this could be a long one.

Heh heh.  Unhappily, it's almost certain that I'll end up flying Axis to balance out the sides.

Happily, I like the 202.

The USAAF flew some Spit IXs at that time and place.  Maybe we could get a USAAF skin for the Spitfire Mk IX?

I'd rather have the Me410s the Luftwaffe was flying there.

With c202 in this setup we simply must have the Spitfire XIV, if they put in the Me410 I think we would have a solid case to ask for a Hawker Hunter to balance that monster...

Spit 9? How dare you say we should put up with such an inferior airplane when they get the c202. The Spit XIV or I wont even show up!!!!

Good lord Erg, all that isn't your signature is it? hehe. :)

As for the setup, it looks fine. I just thought folks were musing about possible 43/44 Agean setups for later.

Looking forward to Agean 1941, even if I dont get my FAA skinned Martlet this time around .
