AHA.. so you are the culprit, i will hunt you down like the dog you are :mad:

honestly though, i did attach a few smilies to indicate that
i didnt take it too serious..just a wee bit muffled..if you know what
i mean. The fact that i come from WB, where chute shooting was
virtually nonexistent, probably has something to do with that.

anyways, some of the arguments for shooting at chutes
are somewhat convinsing......but i still wont do it....it just...seems..
outright wrong.. if you know what i mean :cool:

ps: the first time it happened in AH i was quite frankly stunned.
i was thinking like: "gawd damn, so this is how its done in AH!"

the second and third time i was more resignated, and after
having read this thread i understand that this infact IS the
defacto standard in AH....xept for me :)
(and hopefully a few other who still believes integrety, chivalry and respect is a virtue in the virtual world... no matter if the guy in the chute gives out 6 calls or otherwise give out information

Kewl...with all the 1337ness in this thread, I supose the MA takes on a whole new meaning. Your right you guys..its just a game COOL! I will hence forth remove the reservations I have on spawnpoint bombing, ackstarring, and spawncamping in the MA. Cause after all, the spawnpoint is part of this game...and the game allows for it, so it must be ok..  I was actually shot in the chute the other night. I thought "what a crappy thing to do" but I guess as long as thats ok for you.....now the fun begins

Well, I look forward to fighting you in a fair fight (i.e. not hurri vs. chute);)

And if you were to check my stats, you'd see that I've only popped about two chutes in almost a year of AH.

CYA in MA and don't forget not to pull the rip until you're closer to the ground!  At least you'll have a chance that the chute popper will auger :D

I only shoot planes so that the chutes will fall out and I can shoot the little fella hanging there.  I am deeply disappointed when I put too much lead into the plane and it simply explodes.

Shooting chutes is considered bad form in WB.. Never shot a chute in my whole time there.

When I got over here I'd be bailing after I got shot up and then this squishy sound would start and I'd end up in the tower ???????

Having finally come to an understanding of what was happening to me when I bailed...I..

I..

I burst into tears..

..a great sadness came over me as I came to terms of the true meaning of these pilots actions..

It was then after much mental anguish and self realization..

I killed my first one..

Lookin around making sure nobody saw me I killed him..

I snuffed his wittle life out..

I felt nausiated and all most blew junks..

I became depressed and quit going out of the house..

In the days that followed I learned..

You do finally get over it..

Cuz when all is said and done, they pop real good :D
