Hey Bojc....know what?  I wasnt out of line.  My opinion is that I hate this version bugs and all....and yes...thats in a little over 6 hours of playing!

Maybe my opinion would change if there werent problems but guess what...there are lots which isnt out of the ordinary as would be expected with a huge leap in functionality as we've just had.  

Now as to who I am, I've been here playing and hopefully furthering this sim since the first day of beta which is obviously more than can be said of you Mr. "I've Posted All of 26 Times Now Yet I Have No Problem Giving Those Who Know What They Are Talking About toejam".  I've also been involved in a number of other betas notably AW II's and Everquests a few years ago....on top of that YES I AM A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER!  

So look dweeb....you have a problem with my post...dont fuggin read it.  Instead...go to www.flyingpigs.com  and read up on ACM and teach yourself how to fly.  Then you can come back and post with the big boys...got that scooter?

All the problems I've encountered have been posted...I had to vent and it looks like it was worthwhile.  I feel SOOOO much better now that Spoogie got on my ass...my problems with 1.05 are fading away in my memory!

im sorry but ive read this post whilst downloading 1.05 and ive got to say its not the sort of thing i like to read in here.
Dingy ive flown with you and ive never thought anything bad of what you've said or posted but i gotta say this post seems very negative
I have had trouble with crashes/framerates in previous updates and several changes and introductions have really annoyed me but i dont post 5 hours after the initial patch release proclaiming the game has gone 'down the drain' and i dont think it was very nice of you to do it on such a public forum.
a descreet email to HTC would have been more astute and would probably yeald better results.
These sort of posts are not helpfull to HTC as a business i just hope someone looking in here wondering whether to download the game doesnt read it.Im really sorry but bugs or no bugs i will not be posting stuff like this and quite frankly i dont care for anyones 'opinion' of AH just facts about it and im sure that goes for mostly everyone..I mean do you care what i think?

Hazed, my comments were made out of frustration earlier.  There are many cool features added but at what cost?  My machine is anything BUT antiquated yet I have performance problems.  There are play balance issues that are only now coming to the surface with mass usage.

The game as it stands now is IMHO unplayable and it frustrates me that I have to wait 1-2 weeks after a huge update like this for all of the major bugs to get fixed....during which I am billed regardless of whether I play or not.  Whats even more frustrating is that NEVER was my machine/connection taxed as heavily as it was tonite.  These are issues that are going to be VERY difficult for HTC to resolve...although I have no doubt they can do so.

When 1.04 came out many of us cried out for download mirror sites.  HTC heard us and now we have download mirror sites.  I am going to make ANOTHER suggestion this go around, hopefully which will be at least considered.  Run two servers...a production server and a testing server.  Those who want the latest and greatest version with all the bugs and problems can play on the testing server and beta test for those of us who prefer stable gameplay.  Once all the major problems have been resolved on the testing server, those changes are rolled over to the production servers.  And Spooge...as a software engineer I can tell you that most replacement software systems in business go through this same testing/production rollover process.

In the gaming industry, it works for Verant and Everquest...lets try it here?

I gotta say that I like dingy and all, but this post is way out of line. It's the day of the release for crying out loud!!. Sometimes you just gotta bite your tongue when you're frustrated, because this post sure as hell isn't accomplishing anything.
