I was privately messaged yesterday over the most handsomehunked subject ive ever seen anyone get angry for.I was accused of gangbanging and told to set stop knights from attacking rooks while they were on the back foot! I had to listen to abuse because some other player/customer decided what i was doing was not what he or other players wanted.
I made a mission, I chose a bandit free sector(happened to be only area with no enemy dar bar), set up a big raid and shouted and holared for 20 minutes to get people into it.It was fun, the strategy worked well and players ENJOYED IT! over 20 joined and when it successfully took one base players rearmed and rolled to the next base then the next.
I then get private messages saying im gangbanging and to stop the Knits ganging on rooks!??!! What a farce! Who am I to stop people attacking rooks?? I was warned that the 'next time im ganged' this player and his squad wont spare their attacks on the banged knits lol
Honestly! do i give a toejam? HELL NO.
Ive played AH for 2 years and ive had my fair share of low number ganged moments and I also didnt enjoy it but i SURE AS HELL dont go demanding 1 particular player to change whats going on! especially not in the way i was told i was ruining the MA by doing wha i did.lol
Well I think i made a fun mission, worked hard to drum up the interest, for ONCE got a good number in it, flew it to WIN not to balance someother guys lack of initiative and Guess what, OTHERS ENJOYED IT.
In future if anyone has something to say to me like this I want it on channel 1 where others can read the absurdity of what they are saying.
I was as it happens setting up a mission to a quiet bish sector at the time i got the absurd demands but i switched it back to rooks just to piss em off even more.WHO the hell do these people think they are?

 

my point here though is remember people play this game how they like! some use strategy others want a quick fight.I logged in and set a mission to a quiet part of the map.Im not ALWAYS thinking of the overall game in terms of who needs attacking or whether the mission will work, sometimes i do suicide missions for the fun of the fight, other times i want to do a good surprise attack etc.If you dont like the way others play I suggest yelling orders/insults at them is not going to be very productive, OR appreciated.

I fought you last night in one of those raids. I died a couple killed a few, forgot about work for a while and had a blast. Did we lose to a reset? I don't know and don't care.

I have been harangued like that before, don't sweat it. We Rooks were sure laying it on the Knights the other night when the Knights were down, you owe the Rooks no consideration.

I've been playing Rooks exclusively, sorry to hear one of ours did this to ya.

players have every right in the world to disagree with your actions, but no right to tell us how and where to enjoy a game we pay for.  Wuss doesnt like to be gangbanged then fly somewhere else!  Simple as that.

LOL Hazed, yes there are some complete and utter morons in the game.  Funny how some fail to realize some basic facts.  Things like:


1) Getting beat happens, both to player and to country

2) Every country is always fighting a two-sided war, even though it might look like it

3) Everyone plays to win, and destroying another country and getting a reset is a good thing for the attacking country, and is at the heart of the game

4) Whining just makes a guy look stupid

Maybe next time  you should just send the moron a note and say "stop being a handsomehunk", then squelch him.
