Laz, use Saw's excellent free picture hosting site.

If you can get the pictute to your hard drive, it's all easy from there.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Just use gasoline to strip of the packing. Done it tones of times with service rifles. Lots of work on an FN-FAL but should be a piece of cake on a pistol sized gun.

Considering a Beretta 9MM for my first purchase. Comments?
Here we put salt on Margaritas, not sidewalks.

not a bad gun but heavy.  my first auto was a baretta.  I was very happy with it until I found I could get everything the baretta offered in a gun that was maybe 70% of the weight.

I have a S&W now that weighs maybe half what the baretta did (with both empty) and has a smoother action.  also I've fired about 4-5k rounds through the S&W without a single jam or mis-fire.

to sum it up-  a good gun but you could do better for the money.

I have one,and I have to slightly disagree,I think it's a GREAT gun.

I've never had a single failure to feed, and you can field strip it in ten seconds.

He is right though,it is heavy-about 34 oz. unloaded,and it's large,so it's not a great concealed carry gun,but that's not its intended purpose.

I'm getting the chl only so that I have no worries if I decide to stick it in the glove box when we travel within Texas. That, and there's no waiting or hassle when making future purchases. I won't be sticking it in my pocket or carrying it under my arm. Thanks for the info.

Heard on the radio today that gas in the USA has gone up by something like 50% in some places - could you confirm?

I have a Beretta 92F, and it is a good gun, a bit big and bulky which precludes concealed carry.  All in all it shoots nice, and I enjoy having it, but that said, my favorite is my HK USP .40 cal.  That is the creme de la creme.  Shoots very accurately, and is just a pleasure to have.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

Gas prices in Michigan are $1.84 today, for the cheap Speedway stuff. That's not 50%, but gas prices a year ago were around $1.20 so it's closer to 33%.  Still, it's setting records for high gas prices over here.

Hey sounds great I'm actually going there in October. I must check it out. I'll be in Vietnam too and will probably visit the museum which covers the "American war" as they call it. I'll bet you can pick up a cheap Makarov or two there. Tricky to get it on the plane nowdays though. LOL
