Am I the only one who actually likes the Taurus copies better than the original Beretta's?
I really despise slide mounted safties, and I think they are difficult to operate on most large auto's, and the movement is counter intuitive to me. For me (and I even have big hands) I usually have to operate most slide mounted safties with my off hand, rather than the thumb of the gun hand.
But the older designed Taurus copies have the old stlye frame mounted saftey, which I find much easier to use, especially unders stress.
Of course you can just skip all that crap and go to a SIG or a Glock, which have internal safties.
