Hiya Ditch!

Most of the JG26 are flying Rook as well as a big chunk of former Bz squads.  We do have some Az and Cz squads as well, but we got lucky and got the finest that each country had to offer.

Oh yeah, that and the P-47 are contenders in the MA now instead of the "I've beaten you with everything else, let me fly the clown planes now" rides that they were in AW.

First online multi-player with graphics game.  Text-based MUDs were already out.  Just a little bit of nerd gaming history.

I find AH2 reminds me quite a bit of RR AW, at least with the P-38.

They're not the same person?  All this time I thought Jay/Jet was the same kid with a severe case of multi-personality disorder.

I played AW Classic, AW2 and AW3 spanning across free AOHell to it's demise with Gamestorm.

Squads :

Dawn Patrol (Swish, Ruff, Rocket & others)

SKT's squad :

Flying Skillets  \____________/============

My Macro:

AW cpid:

Sun
Sundowner

Aces High handle:

If you liked AW you'll love this game!
Big learning curve but well worth it!

Hitech and crew are top notch.
Aces High is constantly being improved.

Primary difference between AW and AH was arena design and setup.

In that regard, AW was superior.

"AW had the N1k1; AH has the N1K2. I didn't fly either one so I'm not sure what the FM and gunnery differences are. "

The plane that AW called the N1K1-J in no way resembeled any real plane by that name.  The AH version is FAR more accurate.

The AW version was more like a J2M than an N1K.
