Hell yeah, how could I miss him? Trash talker experten are one of my favorite parts of the game (just like at AW), they add entertainment value (as opposed to the people who are simply POed and venting).

I have a vague recollection of someone with the name of pbear (?) who use to post on Bigweek right before I stopped following that site.

Wasnt he the one that caused BW to switch from open to password back then?

Just wondering since "infamous" people are being mentioned.

And the WORST part of AW was all the FR scenario guys trying to recruit RR pilots into participating in them. I signed up as a tail gunner on a B-17 once and after about fifteen minutes into the flight I decided to check my e-mails and BOOM, we got shot down.

What kind of crap is that?

I damn near went to Fighter Ace.

I remember my first scenario, unknow walk-on, new to FR.
I was put in a P-38, given 2 RR guys to lead and waypoints Told not to loose these planes, as they are needed in the next frame. Waypoint took us well away from the action (the opposite direction), after a 1 hour and 15 minutes both RR guys bailed. I landed 15 minutes short of end frame.

It was a long time before I attempted another scenario.

;)

ROFL...Doody was quite possibly the WORST player in the game...

No idea who you are Airhead...but I never ever had the patience to climb to 35k in either RR or FR...also...there was never an AWBrat...just a Brat and a +Brat...

I think you might have me confused with an "Oldmn" when discussing high altitude retardness...let it go...move on...no need to be bitter after all these years..

DoK, I'd be more than happy to design your terrain. Just post a rough sketch.

Yeah, I'm serious. I have most of the basic structure figured out for this event already.  I'll try to get it firmed up this week with a list of open issues you guys no doubt know the answers to.

Not sure it'd need a custom terrain - maybe take an existing one and move around a few fields and pile some extra buildings onto one city. Add a few stationery water targets at a port.

I know ... he started helping me with a terrain design years ago ... the CM dudes and I are still working through the scheduling details, and I'm pulling together a microsite to hold all the stuff we'll need to run this beast.

huh?  Chi?  He sucks.  So does his 'trash talk'.  He's caught in the hamster wheel and cant get out.  Hell, he, like many others, still believe in a Chess Piece Master Race.  No one talks a good game of trash in AH as far as I know.  Shane... *maybe*... but I really haven't seen a good display.
