And the WORST part of AW was all the FR scenario guys trying to recruit RR pilots into participating in them. I signed up as a tail gunner on a B-17 once and after about fifteen minutes into the flight I decided to check my e-mails and BOOM, we got shot down.

I damn near went to Fighter Ace.
I remember my first scenario, unknow walk-on, new to FR.
I was put in a P-38, given 2 RR guys to lead and waypoints Told not to loose these planes, as they are needed in the next frame. Waypoint took us well away from the action (the opposite direction), after a 1 hour and 15 minutes both RR guys bailed. I landed 15 minutes short of end frame.
It was a long time before I attempted another scenario.
