ohh it used to do that when did it stop?

any time you used to use word's like ohh i dont know! another word for human body parts in particular, it would tell you that its unacceptable language and i have one more warning.

any profanity, to my knowledge had been blocked in text.

now vox on the other hand, thats another.

Game ID

Fencer
Whels
SHawk
102Jish
coyo
emodin
BaLy1
pacerr
2cmex
DragOOn
MiSFiT
Tsingis
Nuke33
TalonX
BadAce
AKOwl
WMLute
aka
VegasX
Kingcat

here is a list of the top 20 pilots.

Lute said he was in the top 20 so i assume we can narrow things down a bit with this list......

also, the pilot in question must be, or must have been at the time of the crime, a knight, as i know Lute is on my side....

unfortunately i know not how to find out a pilots country from the HTC site.

but i know (as far as my boozed up, saturday night memory serves me)these pilots are not, or are rarely knights:

Fencer
SHawk
coyo
DragOOn
BaLy1
2cmex
MiSFiT
Tsingis
TalonX
Nuke33
BadAce
VegasX
Kingcat

So therefore i am guesing the pilot accused is one of these chaps:

Whels
102Jish
emodin
pacerr
AKOwl
WMLute
aka

Out of these pilots i would hazard a guess that i know them, or of them well enough to eliminate them from suspision:

Whels
102Jish
emodin
AKowl
WMLute (duh!)
aka

so it is my guess (and probably wrong) that it was Pacerr

Pacerr you kill stealing chappy you    -    lol

am i correct?

any more clues Lutey baby?? :)

Batfink

(PS: please take no offence any pilot on that list, im just doing my job)

(oh yeah, lets see that smiley one more time!!  hehehe)

stopping kill stealers, HO'ers, serial vulchers and finally, pottymouthed morons is like....

>>Wow. Not what I want, nor should expect to hear in AH. My kids love to sit and watch me fly (thank gosh they were in bed at the time) I asked if he wasn't up late and had school (yeah, i know 2morrow is Sat) based on his young (girlish) voice. He THEN privated me and proceeded to curse me some more. (like I had done anything wrong here, I was after all the one who both lost his kill, AND was verbally assaulted)
<<

Quick answer is the kid wasn't the only childish one involved.
And if your kids love to watch you play a video game, you need to reset priorities. Kids don't like to watch - they like to participate. I am getting it up to "here" with this "my kids are watching the banter" etc. If your kids are watching you play then you need to be doing something else (playing a game with them, reading, wrestling, something they are participating in)- period.
There's no excuse for cursing, but the lament of my "children were watching me be hypnotized by eye candy" is foolish IMHO. It indicates a bigger problem.

"Now you sit right there Johnny and watch daddy real in the big red fish. Isn't this fun watching daddy fish, Johnny?"

Yea, right.

actually, being on the young side, (4 and 6) they DO like to watch me fly.  Granted, they don't stare in rapt attention for hours on end, but quite often they are there for 5-10 min stretches, or in the same room as myself and playing with toys (coloring, whatever).  Being such a good parent (tooting own horn) my kids LIKE being in the same room as myself, and where ever I am, rest assured they are not far behind.  I am VERY involved with them, and you can generally find me devoting the majority of my free time to them.  Involving my children in my hobby of flying is a GOOD thing.

You would be surprised how into AH they are.  They know what color is good guys, vs. bad, and like watchin' 'em go BOOM.  They can identify many of the planes (they like the forked tail devil) and are constantly telling me what to do (who to kill, what to bomb etc.). Don't know how including my kids in something I enjoy is bad opus, but you sure seem to paint that picture.

Bottom line is some of us DO have kids watching us, or in the same room, and some jerk dropping the Fbomb on vox is flat out tasteless.  Some of us don't want to hear some 14yr old cursing up a storm (where are THEIR parents), or an adult who should know better swearing on vox.

Would like to know just how i'm being childish here, as that is what was implied by you.  I'm of the opinion I have taken the "higher" road.  Elinghten me please...

I've always considered the typical pilot who flys these WW2 sims as a cut above, and maybe i'm holding them to too high of a standard, but it's my opinion, so there it is.

p.s. not to egg this on, but the offending guy/gal is now top 30.  They dropped a bit.

I will admit to the fact that my daughter sat in my lap at 3 years old to learn how to use the mouse--- and would often watch me play AW and "fly" a B-17 with me. She learned all about them from the game. When she was 7, we visited a B-17G "Pathfinder" named "Chuckie" at Meacham Field in Ft. Worth and I asked her what all of the plane parts were as we walked around. A mechanic working on the #3 engine stopped to watch us for a while. When she asked where the ball turret was (because the G's had the radome located there), the mechanic came down to talk to us and gave us a tour inside the plane. He was amazed at her questions (she was also pretty small for her age at that time). She got to sit in the pilots seat but preferred the bombardier position and really liked the Norden bombsight (good girl !!).

She never heard any foul language in AW because vox sucked so bad there, our squad used Roger Wilco so she never heard open channel stuff - just my squad and the aircraft. In AH, I wear headphones with attached Mic anyway so she never hears anything if she pops in to the study.

The best course of action is to send a little film of the bezoar to support@hitechcreations.com .

Yea, I think I was harsh - sorry about that. I just got this picture of kids staring blankly at an absentee parent who was on the puter for hours and hours. That was knee jerk characterization.

I agree completely, there is no need for profanity to express one's self.

There is a two part thing here, one is the kill stealing. I'm sorry IMO but there is no such thing as kill stealing. If the plane still has icon, it is still a viable target. If someone cuts in on your kill and gets it, then that is really sort of your own fault and you should follow through on your kills. Throw a steak out to two hungry dogs, and they will go for it. Even if the other dog has taken a large bite out of it, its not going to slow the other one down a bit. Kill stealing does not exsist, they are called assists, and if you don't get your kill, you should have finished the job to begin with. Follow through, especially if there are other dogs eyeing your steak. Instead of hollering about a kill being stolen, try saying "oops, I should have finished him off" :D
The other issue is of course profanity,  or growling and barking. As far as I can tell given the situation presented, it was wrong for this person to start swearing you out, and it was wrong to respond by calling them childish, it was wrong to accuse them of stealing a kill, it was wrong of them to PM, and it was wrong to bring this to the BB. It was a spat that would, should and could really have ended with the 1st exchange. The proper avenues have been taken, the right folks have been contacted and there's no need to bring this thing to a name game on the BB. There is a squelch feature in this game, and there are avenues to report repeat offenders, etc. Let's not drag this post out guys, let sleeping dogs lie. ;)

Was informed by my CO that I was being flamed. So I thought I would drop by and explain what really happened.

First of all, you did NOT type it on range, it was private channel. Second, You said 'how pathetic to try and steal a kill blahblahblah'. So, yes , I defended myself, because as far as i'm concerned, it was a personal attack. I've heard you complain to other pilots before, and i am not about to let you go with this. Third you said you had all of it recorded. Where's the film? I insisted you send it in. You think you're so innocent, when in fact it was you who incited & started the entire thing. I  popped off a few rounds because it was a good fight and I wanted to see who the pilot was via assist. Remember I was there backing you up in that fight. But I guess your ego is a bit more important that anything. Fourth, it was you who brought up the dueling arena. I never even mentioned it.
So if you think you're so right and innocent, let's see the tape. Again, I INSIST.
All the way up to the part where I squelched you.

I'm calling your bluff
