Jasta was not in a 190 and we had just got into the area. Jasta was in an F6F and I was in an F4U-1D. LOL..And, according to urchin it was only a 30 second engagement...Jasta ran 3-4 times in 30 seconds and we still shot you both down? Not bad, I'd say. We didn't "shadow" the two of you, we turned in and engaged as soon as we saw you.
We passed over you and urchin on your right initially and with an alt advantage. You were about 5.5 K off our 5 o'clock when we turned to engage the two of you. We caught up quickly while you and urchin made a slow turn to the right and towards more knights (why y'all did that, I still don't know).
Your account is pretty much a total fantasy. But most disturbing is that you are so rabidly defending the ideal that you had to be vastly outnumbered to get shot down and that in itself justifies your and urchin's bad behavior...lol...what a hoot. Want to see the film? I'd be happy to email it to you, but you would still see what you want to see. Anyway, it is available to anyone that wants it.
Wotan Thank you for your inpuy, but I don't really care what urchin thinks of me, to be honest. Could really care less. I'm not here to be his friend or gain his respect. What I care about is his crude and unjustified behavior. This is not a matter of respect, but common decency. I am terribly sorry that this concept is lost on you. Don't know about you, but I tend to not want to associate with people that lose that poorly. I'll say it again, I think he needs to grow up.

jetb123 I appreciate what you're saying. However, it is not about getting a salute. It is about urchin and mane's behavior. Now it is quickly becoming about this delusional fantasy land they live in about who they are and what Aces High is, but that's their burden to bear, not mine.
Just so it is not lost on everyone, this is not about whether I got a salute or whether urchin/mane respect me. I can't control those things and don't care too. As I said above, it is about unreasonable behavior in the face of very genuine complements. Some people really seem to be missing this point and trying to make it something else. Everyone who is telling me to get over it, needs to say the same to urchin/mane and tell him/them to check it the next time they get capped by their "inferiors."
