Once a country gains, say a 15% number advantage, those people in the guilty country, who logged in most recenty, just explode in a cool fireball. When they die they  have three options, via dialog check box:

1. go to heaven
2. go to hell
3. change sides

If you chose "heaven", nothing really happens....you just have to select another option. Choosing "hell" automatically deletes your account.

Bahhh.......just kidding.

I do not like ENY in any form, but Doc's idea is the best I've heard. It makes sense, but I doubt it will even the numbers any better. The people that stay in their country with numbers really  would have no reason to change countries.

A guy like me, I could care less if my country has numbers or not. I just want the game to be simple and fair for everyone playing it.
I almost always find fights away from the masses and it doesn't matter what country has numbers.

People that cry about numbers really have no argument, as they are not forced to stay in that situation.

Glad to see that the MA is just as crappy after another week of "balancing."

Simple, elegant, appears to accomplish what it sets out to. Players will whine.

How could anybody so right about so many things be so wrong about this?   ;)

DoK, all the ENY stuff simply removes strategic dynamics. We are literally fighting the exact same war, for the same fields, using the same planes, night after night after night. There is no movement on the maps. The salient from original borders is rarely 3 fields deep. It's BORING.

After watching all this a month or so, I think that may be it. Programmers don't understand that regular humans can get bored by monotony, no matter how well-programmed.

Although I truly do see the intellectual appeal and challenge of trying to hard-code the f*cking United Nations (which is a pretty apt description of what's going down in the MA), it sucks for generating novelty in a strategic simulation.

With all due respect (but in expectation of a worthy lambaste),

PS: Forgive whoever asked if DoK is new. THAT guy has gotta be new

No I don't. Have you actually been in the MA in a month or so?

For the most part, there are not resets anymore. And I would welcome the variety afforded by a swarm, blitz, reset cycle in contrast to what happens now.

The one signifigant change inthe MA is that the Rooks have less numbers than they used to on a consistant basis.

They are slowly being sqeezed into a corner.

But they are getting tougher, working together more and devising new tactics.  I doubt that Bish would last this long in the same corner.

Rooks still need some toughening, but if this keeps up, you'll see the new leaner, meaner take-no-prisoners Rookand that existed before they became fat and bloated by Rook wannabees and hangers-on.

Hah!  Just you wait rookland will rule the map again and when it does you'll all wished you had stayed home with your nice fluffy sheep.

Don't get me started.

Anyone ever play the game "RISK"?

wouldn't that be cool if, when you gained an advantage on the map, you were limited to  only 1 dice until the numbers equaled out?

Anyone ever play "Monopoly"

wouldn't that be cool if everyone always had equal cash and properties?

Games are competitive. A few whiners have ruined this game imho.

I'm riding this out, paying but not playing, until I see what happens with the ENY thing. I am disgusted with the idea, but am hoping that it will go away soon.

No, in contrast to fights that vary in location, strategic context and platforms.
